Of course, the actual story is probably not structured that way, there's probably more to it than just a series of morbid tableaux, and I wouldn't get that vibe if not for Ruins. I mean it's just a small sampling of scans (scanling?.) But I do and it's not a good (or remotely hilarity-inducing thing) so I mentionned it as something that somewhat dampened my positive reaction.

Ruins is just a series of morbid tableaux, which has a sort of dark humor to it in some ways and some scenes. Supergod, yeah, is entirely setup at this point.

I don't know if I'd call them all morbid except Krishna, certainly, but even then I found myself nodding a bit. If you create a superhuman and ask it to fix the environment you befouled, what the hell do you expect it to do to you?

If the exeuction has yet to be determined, it could be like Ruins in that way in the end.

I'm not sure how I expressed myself badly enough that what I was saying transformed into an absolute critical judgment of the entire work. Like I was saying, it was just a vibe that sort of came from reading these scans strictly. For all I knew the series could have been almost over being published by now and everybody else would know that it has an actual plot. Which it probably does.

	Honestly, what you said sounded more like, "Hm, this does look interesting, but this writer did this one two-issue story fourteen years ago that I really didn't like," which struck me as odd enough to solicit discussion. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)
