It feels like you were falling for a very long time, but the landing isn't any harder than if you'd just tripped.

You are standing in front of a massive, electrified gate topped with barbed wire, cameras, fedora skulls, and guided missiles. However, you are not outside the gate; whatever this compound is, the heart has automatically accepted you inside of it. And for that matter, there doesn't seem to be much outside of it at all, just a mess of crumbling buildings dotting an empty wasteland. It's very post-apocalyptic chic.

Was that a pterodactyl swooping by in the distance? Man that was totally a pterodactyl out there.

By the way, when you turn around...

...you'll notice that this appears to be some kind of military base.

It is a whirlwind of activity, with all the Excels you could ever want (or dread) seeing in one place. These girls mean business. They are all decked out in their ACROSS uniforms - some in orange and Hydra green, some in the original green, and a few more in the robot version (which Allen can see yet more Excels possessing). All of them are busy. Some are sparring; some are peeling potatoes; quite a few more on latrine duty. Every once in awhile they stop to hail LORD SILVER.

LEADER LUCKY, a powerful-looking Vulpecula-dressed Lucky who monitors their progress from atop her IVORY TOWER, is barking orders through a megaphone. Despite her obvious disapproval, the EXCEL MILITIA tend to smile and wave as they pass you by.
