WHO: Kira Yukimura, Scott McCall & eventually Evil!Stiles
WHERE: McCall Home
WHEN: Right after her conversation with Scott
WHAT: Kira needs to talk to Scott, things do not go according to her plan
RATING: PG - some violence

Being the new girl sucked. The whole experience of the nogitsune had been a giant nightmare. Now she was new all over again, and was worried that the nogitsune situation was going to happen all over again. But maybe if it was, she could stop it before it got to far. Before anyone died. Or anyone else died. Whatever was going on here right now she still couldn't wrap her mind around it, so she would focus on what she could. Saving the people she had come to care about. That started with Scott. Even if he didn't know her here, she trusted him to at least hear her out. He would do anything to save Stiles.

She left her Katana hidden in her dads car, since apparently he wasn't around to need it. It probably wasn't the safest idea, but if she wanted to talk to Scott and not look like a threat, having a sword likely wasn't the best idea. But if all of this was still happening, she wanted to keep it close to her at all times.

Maybe she was totally over reacting and nothing had happened to Stiles.

It was hard, walking up to his house knowing he had no idea who she was. She'd spent the night there, just sleeping, but that had been a good memory for her. One he didn't have. As much as she wanted to just curl up and not deal with this again, she couldn't. Kira wouldn't let herself do that. So instead she knocked, stepped back and waited for Scott to answer the door.

Scott had no idea what to make of this new wrinkle. It was crazy enough trying to figure out what was happening to them plus this 'door' situation plus their family being gone. And now Jackson was back and some girl he hadn't heard of before. She seemed nice, and Scott rarely assumed the worst when he met people. Even though he'd been burned a few times by now, he still wanted to greet new people as if they were friends, not foes. It was a healthier way of looking at the world, and getting harder every time a new villain popped up in his life.

He was starting to text Stiles when he heard the knock and decided he'd finish that later. He'd probably want to know all about the new girl, and he could tell Lydia and Allison at the same time. Scott put his phone to the side and answered the door. He was in jeans and a t-shirt, nothing special, and the house was somewhat clean. Not nearly as organized as when his mother was around, but he was trying really hard to make it okay. If she did show up, he didn't want her first comment to be 'you couldn't do dishes by yourself?' It was cluttered though, with his stuff and some of Stiles' there.

"Hi." He wasn't sure what he expected, since she said she was a student, but he blinked a few times when he saw her. Oh. Pretty fellow classmate. Got it. Okay. "Hi." He already said that. "I'm ... you know who I am." Awkward. "Uhhhh come in?"

It was hard not to smile when he opened the door. Even if he didn't know her, that didn't change the fact that her crush on him was still huge. Though hopefully it didn't become painfully obvious. Kira had no idea where he was in his personal life at this point, and she so did not need that coming forward ontop of everything else. Yikes. "Hi." she said with a grin, before she forced herself to be a bit more serious. She was not here to hang out.

"Thanks." she replied, stepping into the house. The room was familiar, and she had seen it in a much worse state than it was now. "I'm Kira" she said, automatically, though, duh. "But I already told you that...sooo..." she looked down for a second, shaking her head.

How was any of this even going to make sense? "I don't know if I'm like...from your future, or a different reality, or what. But it kind of sounds like you guys are dealing with stuff that you've already dealt with where I'm from. Some things you really need a heads up about, and some things you really need to deal with right away." Before it was too late. If it wasn't already too late for some people. But whatever was happening, Allison was alive, which meant she didn't have to die. That was already a win, right?

"I know you're an Alpha werewolf." she blurted out, starting right into it. "Lydia is a Banshee, Allison comes from a family of hunters and Stiles is..." hopefully not a nogitsune. "...Stiles is Stiles, human but still part of your pack." maybe the most important. "I'm a Kitsune. A fox." she told him. "That's kind of how we got to know each other, I guess. Supernaturals attract supernaturals or something. A thunder kitsune to be specific. I can like...control and absorb electricity. Still working on the control part, but yeah." Wow, that was a lot. "...if that made any sense..."

"Good to meet you, Kira, uhhh again." Scott in general was awkward around people, even if he liked people as a general rule. He was friendly and extroverted, just a little nervous and easy to trip up when he started rambling. It was funny, seeing someone else having the same kind of babble, he ordinarily only saw him and Stiles act like that. He smiled wide and shut the door behind her. "Hey sit or ... I can ge you something to drink?" What did his mom do with guests? Make them feel welcome, right.

His eyebrows furrowed as he listened to her. "Yeah there's like other worlds and stuff, so I guess alternate realities or time travel, not really that surprising. I guess there's a zombie door. And also one that's in the 1920s?" They were going to ramble at each other equally. Two people who had trouble getting to the point in the same room, this could take awhile. Except he was going to try and focus, yup. Important things.

"Hey this is good news? Because we aren't usually ahead of all the crazy stuff that happens to us." They just tried to survive whatever was thrown at them. This was a much better option. Scott shut right up so he could listen to her. He nodded when she explained who all of them were, although Lydia's Banshee status was brand new to them. He hoped she learned more about that soon because it seemed like it could be helpful.

"Oh wow." His eyes widened. "So a were ... fox. Only with more super powers. That's so cool." He was impressed, because his powers were alright, but they weren't thunder electricity cool. "You were ... born that way? Or did someone bite you?"

"Um. Water would be great." she said with a shrug. Just thinking about everything she had to say in regards to what happened pretty much made her throat go dry. She had no idea how she was going to explain Allison. He probably wouldn't even believe her. No one wanted to believe something like that.

Zombies? Man, if people could pass through doors, did that mean zombies could come here. "But no one knows where the door to here is?" she questioned. It was just weird, all of it. She still didn't get it. It was like she was living some actual episode of Doctor Who. Minus the TARDIS and The Doctor. Unless they were here to. She'd probably lose her cool if they were. Kira didn't have much cool to begin with.

"I wouldn't really call it good news." she said with a shake of her head. "If you guys are headed in the same direction...it was bad." the fact that any of them had made it through alive was a miracle. But the body count had been high. So high, she only hoped that hadn't started here.

Kira shook her head as soon as he said 'were'. "No, not a were. Kitsune. Originating in Japan. I don't change shape or anything." she explained, before she knitted her eyebrows and frowned in confusion. "I think. That I know of. I'm pretty new to it. But I was born this way. My mom is one. I just didn't start...developing any powers or anything until recently." Anyway, that was besides the point.

"There's a lot to tell you, and I don't even know where to start. Maybe from the beginning." she hadn't been around then Allison, Stiles and Scott had basically sacrificed themselves, but she'd heard of it. "You, Allison and Stiles did that sacrifice thing for your parents, right? Now all three of you are have trouble? Apparently you kind of opened a door in your minds, and you need to close it." she explained, trying to word it the same way she had heard about it. "I know, totally helpful. But I guess that's kind of like how Deaton explained it. Only you guys can help yourselves there. Otherwise you leave yourselves open, and that kind of becomes a problem in your future."

Water he could do! He was glad to get a task. He disappeared into the kitchen and brought it back for her. He shrugged at the question. "Not yet, no. We've been looking. We thought maybe the Hale house? Like people implied you keep opening doors until you find it. We've been to a lot of different places." Scott wondered if it was the door itself that mattered or just their intentions on getting through the door. He wasn't sure what he'd even do once he got past the door.

"Yeeeeah I knew it was probably going to be bad." He was crestfallen about it, but that was how things went these days. He wondered if it was going to follow him everywhere too. Like was this going to happen in college? Should he stay in the area in case it did? He wasn't always sure if he was grateful about the bite, because everything got so damn complicated. But it would've been anyway. And he would've been incapable of fighting, with his asthma and lack of alpha-ness.

"That's really cool," he told her sincerely. A kitsune. Totally better than a Darach or a Demon Wolf. Yeesh. Scott's eyes widened when she talked about the sacrifice, and that more than anything else really sold him on her knowing them. Because no one knew about that outside of their group of friends, not even their enemies. It was a private moment. "Yeah, we've been having nightmares. Allison hasn't really told me a lot about hers, but Stiles has been sleepwalking." He was crazy worried about Stiles, worried enough he never told him about his own struggles with keeping the wolf down.

"So he said we can close it? Any ideas on how?"

She took the water with a smile and a thanks. Kira leaned up against the wall, taking a sip and trying to gather her thoughts. This was going to suck.

There were literally thousands of doors in Beacon Hills. If that was the case it could literally be in any home or any building. How they were going to find it was beyond her. Did they even want to find it? Was going to other realities a good idea? Was letting someone else come to theirs a good idea? "I've never been." she said with a shrug. "Just to his loft. For a party, which didn't really end well." Beacon Hills seemed like the place where most parties wouldn't end well.

As for how to close the door, Kira shrugged. "I don't know, honestly. It's a mental thing. I think that's up to you guys." she hadn't heard many details on it, but maybe there wasn't much to say. Whatever was bother them, they had to stop it themselves. It was a battle with their own minds. "It's something you have to make happen yourself."

"But even more important is what can happen if you don't close the door. It leaves you vulnerable. Open for something to slip in. I don't know if it's already happened or not. But if you don't close them, like now, you're in for a lot more trouble."

This was where it got tricky. She had to drop the bomb about Stiles, and about Allison. But if Stiles wasn't actually possessed here did it matter? Maybe they could just close their minds and everything would be fine. That wans't hoping for too much, was it?

As far as Scott knew, no one had come in and out of the door. He thought it was unlikely anyone would want to go in theirs. The only thing they had was lacrosse and werewolves. It wasn't exactly exciting compared to Avengers New York or Gotham City. He wasn't worried about who would come in, and he thought it was good for them to try to get out. Carefully though. Just to see if this whole hotel thing was real.

"Most parties don't end well these days," Scott said ruefully, unknowingly echoing her thoughts. He couldn't imagine Derek throwing a party in his loft though, that was strange. Derek wasn't the partying type. Plus he said he was leaving for awhile, with his sister. So apparently he came back? Man it sounded like a lot of things were happening in the future. "Yeah we don't go to the Hale house a lot anymore, it's ... a dark place." Derek getting a loft away was a good thing.

"A mental thing, great." He didn't consider himself someone that was too great at the mental side of things. He was smart enough to come up with some good plans, but Stiles was the real brains of their little operation. "I've been having trouble shifting? Like sometimes I think I'm going to turn in front of everyone. I've come close a few times." Scott was able to calm himself down, but he wasn't sure how long that was going to last. It could change any day. Each time it was harder, because he was panicking.

Oh that sounded even worse. He rubbed the back of his neck. "Uhhh, like vulnerable how? What would slip in?" Were there ghosts? He felt like this was leading toward ghosts.

"Yeah, I know. Mental thing, super helpful. But I know you guys can do. Because you did it in my time. Or world, whatever. However you kept from shifting before, maybe you need to lock onto that again, or something like it?" she didn't know the details of how Scott kept his calm and focus. Werewolves could be dangerous. But they all could, really. Her mother had insisted that they couldn't be trusted, even though she ended up letting Kira trust Scott. She had no reason not to. "Whatever the answer is, I know you can find it." she said with a smile that said she had all the confidence in the world in him.

Then she realized how that would probably be a little unnerving, so she dropped her gaze and moved on. "Leaving your mind open. To possession." she took another drink of water before she set it down, on the table, and looked back at him.

"There's a lot of bad news and you're not going to like what I have to say." she warned. He was having trouble shifting, but the idea that he might hurt her for delivering bad news didn't cross her mind. "When...that whole thing with the Nemeton happened, something called a Nogitsune escaped. It's a dark spirit. It's evil. It feeds on chaos, and it possesses people."

Kira linked her hands behind her back, she kept her focus on Scott, reminding herself that he deserved to know. "That being said, if something has managed to get in, there are things you need to know. About Stiles. And Allison."

A grip caught Kira’s wrists, a grip that was effortlessly tight and totally unyielding. It pulled up, not down, jamming shoulders and catching all her joints in the wrong direction.

“I really don’t like bad news. Especially when you don’t get the chance to say, I’ll take the good news first.”

He put his mouth down next to Kira’s cheek and took a slow breath in through his nose, feeling for her power, and smelling some of that young teenager girl scent that seemed to linger around girls like grocery store shampoo.

Stiles smelled like boy, deodorant, and burnt oxygen. His voice was soft and his body was fever-warm through the Beacon Hills jersey and the gray corduroy jeans. "You know, when they say, ‘hey, I’ve got good news and I’ve got bad news, which one do you want first.’” He pulled up on her arms, just to make sure she was listening, holding one of her shoulders to keep his grip. “You didn’t do that. And I don’t even know you, but I can tell you’re a bad news sort of girl.”

He gave Scott a level look over Kira’s shoulder, and then tipped his head back and forth, like he was disappointed. His eyes were old-bruise yellow in their sockets, and his eyes were like black marble. “You’re going to believe her? Oh, I get it.” He pressed his lips together, like Stiles always did when he was annoyed with his best friend. “It’s because she said the A-word. Man, Scott.” He let out a long sigh. “Allison again. This is not a healthy obsession.”

Scott listened to Kira intently when she started to explain more. The mental stuff was a problem. They were all going to struggle with it more. Put them in battle, they were getting better at it. Directing this stuff? Oh boy not easy. He didn't consider getting aggressive at her either, that was the opposite of his gentle soul. Bad news. Bad, bad news from her expression. His heart sunk. "Nogistune? It sounds like kitsune." Relatives? His eyes got wary when she said he needed to know something about Allison and Stiles.

And then Stiles showed up. Almost immediately attacking Kira, and Scott gaped. It was a silly response, but that was nothing like Stiles. In fact he barely recognized him, for a flash there. It was his face, and not his stance. "Hey!" And creepy, wow that was creepy, with the smelling. It was a fast connection. Possession. Nogistune. "Stiles ...." Was he in there? He had to be. He'd lost time and was sleep walking. Was this where it was leading?

Scott's lack of control played in heavily when emotions came into play, and he was scared and angry and worried all in one big ball. He snarled, and the transformation happened in a split second. He didn't try to fight it. His eyes glowed red, his teeth sharp. "Get out of him. Let her go." The 'or else' was implied. His instincts were so strong right now. He felt deep down like he was going to rip out his own best friend's throat. So not good.

Kira let out a breath, not letting herself panic. She'd thought they were pretty much the same thing too once, having been convinced she was the evil thing the Oni were hunting. "We're both foxes." she explained. "But Nogitsune's are dark. Also this is my body. Born this way. The Nogitsune possesses people." One was good, one was bad. She wondered if she still had the mark from the Oni, but it hadn't occurred to check for that again once they were gone.

Where had he come from? Kira hadn't heard a sound, had no idea he was there, no warning. One minute she wanted to talk about Stiles, and then he was right behind her. Only it wasn't Stiles. Not really. He was likely still there, probably still in the same body, but he wasn't in control right now.

"I'd be happy to deliver some good news." she said, not daring to look over her shoulder. "The goods news is that you can stop him." she said to Scott. "You can save Stiles. The Nogitsune can be defeated." Her tone was defiant, a 'go to hell' message for the Nogitsune delivered in her words.

Kira didn't move, his grip on her arm keeping her very still. He was powerful, one wrong move and he could easily hurt her. A Nogitsune at her back, and one angry werewolf at her front. Perfect. This was exactly the situation she wanted to be in. "Scott." she said carefully, still not moving. She really, really hoped he was still capable of being rational. "Scott he's still in there. Stiles in there, you don't want to hurt him."

He made a face like laughter, but he didn't make any sound as his brows jumped up and his mouth opened in a silent twist of lightless humor. Kira couldn't see it, of course, but his cheek brushed hers again, warm and simple, almost normal. But he still held her arms in check, and without warning he took a step back, toward the door and the way they'd come, dragging her with him. "You're not a fox like me, kodanuki-chan." He said it fondly, as if she'd just showed him a crayon drawing of a girl that looked like a cloud. "But it's adorable when you pretend to be a grown-up. Tell us what happened to grown-up Allison and Stiles. Did they run away together?" The idea was hilarious.

He settled his chin on her shoulder, slightly pointed, settling it a little to make up for their varied heights. Again he looked at Scott, face calm, eyes still. He didn't blink as often as Stiles, and he didn't twitch, not even once. A black fly crawled slowly over his forehead, through the cold microdroplets of sweat, and then it made one short little buzz from his face to Kira's. It drifted over her nose, in front of her eyes, and then with a high-frequency nzzzzzzz sound it slid away through the air straight towards Scott.

"You know Scott, if you're looking for Stiles, I'm not sure he's home. He looked up, slowly rolling his dark eyes back into his skull, as if feeling the divine--or hearing something beautiful. "He's busy up here. Busy screaming." This time he did laugh. Very slowly, deliberately English, so American. "Ha, ha... ha."

Kira's reassurance was no where near enough at that moment. He saw nothing of his friend there, and he wanted to panic. Scott always had Stiles. That's how they were from day one. They were tied to each other. He was worried about her too, this stranger who knew them, and he kept his distance in case the nogistune tried to make an example out of her. Damnit, he could use his pack right now, he needed Derek. Even Peter was looking like a viable option in this instance. The distraction about Allison and Stiles only earned a flicker in his eyes, but he knew that was no where near the truth.

The fly, that was beyond creepy, and he growled, his hand snapping up to catch it in his hand. Whatever this was, it wasn't going to infect him. "Kira, it's okay, I'm going to figure this out. Stay calm." He followed fake Stiles at a distance, not breaking eye contact. Looking for a sign or any weakness. It hurt, the idea of what was happening to Stiles. "You're not going to win. We'll stop you," he said, low and menacing. His wolf was coming forward, red eyes bright, the alpha. He felt like he might kill whatever this was as soon as it was out, and that was rare for Scott. He always tried to find a way around violence, or at least fatal violence.

"Get out of him."

The Nogitsune had never been this close to her before. Not like this. She didn't know Stiles all that well, but she knew he wouldn't do anything like this. He wouldn't make her skin crawl, or send a chill up her spine. It was an automatic reaction to mover her head away when he came to close. It was Stiles' body, but the thing inside of him told every inch of her to keep her distance.

She couldn't answer the question of what happened to Allison and Stiles, not now. "I'll tell you what does happen." she responded calmly. "You lose this game." Because it was all a game to him. Or it had been in her world, she was going to assume it was now.

The fly recognized, and she couldn't begin to describe the relief she felt when Scott just caught it. But his wolf was still a problem, he was doing okay now, but he was having control issues. Who knew what was going to happen. "That's not going to work." she said calmly. "He has zero reason to leave Stiles' body. You might be an Alpha but that doesn't mean much with him." He couldn't just demand it, or Alpha Roar it, or whatever it was he did. The Nogitsune was safer in there, because no one wanted to hurt Stiles. She also couldn't tell him what would work. At least not right now. "Please don't let that fly get you." She'd already had to face off against three betas who had been infected. This time she didn't even have Allison with her.

She needed to get away from him. Even if it hurt her in the end. She'd heal, and she'd heal quickly. Lifting one leg, she kicked back, going for his knees, or groin if she could manage it. She needed to force him back to break his grip and the twist away.

A muscle in the corner of his eye twitched, the first sign of authentic irritation. He looked at the nikubae caught in the Alpha's hand, and his tongue pressed to the roof of his mouth behind his tight lips, causing his whole face to tighten with frustration. The little black fly would burn like a short in an electrical plug, a brief sting as it died; nothing without emotion to feed on. He was surprised that the little cub girl knew what it was; this was either excellent training, or she was telling the truth about meeting him before. He didn't discount it. He was an old creature, and he didn't discount anything except defeat as truly impossible. "I don't lose. And I never play the same game twice."

His back was to the door now. "I could kill you," he told Kira softly, singing it to himself as he considered it. Ki-ill youuu. "I could kill you, or Scott here. But what's the fun in that?" He didn't just go around killing things without reason; that was boring. Death was boring. What did you get after killing people? Corpses. Corpses were not fun. They just lay there. Yawn.

He started to say something else, a taunt, but Kira cut him off. His grip was strong on her arms and shoulder, but she got him in the inside of the knee. As much in surprise as in pain, he loosened his grip, but he realized what she was doing a split second later. With a vicious sound, he wrenched her arm back against her shoulder, wanting to make her pay for eluding him, a very short, trite vengeance.

And then he vanished.

"Kira ---" He had so many questions to ask her, but he couldn't do that right now with not-Stiles hovering close. He had to get her safe and maybe get him locked up, he didn't have a real plan. Scott just made it up as he went along, stuffing down panic. "Let her go!" It was said partly in his Alpha voice, it sounded like an intense vibration, growling on the words. He was about to charge forward and figure out something but then Kira made her move.

"Stiles!" Okay, he knew it wasn't Stiles, not really, even if all his senses were saying it was. But he still chased after him, until he knew there was no point. Scott wanted to check on Kira, and ask questions, and figure it all out, but instead he felt the fury and panic rise up in him. The wolf was angry and it was strong and he was struggling with it. Stop it, Scott, stop it. He leaned against the door and breathed as much as he could, but he felt his nails tear against the wall, his teeth drawing blood on his lip as he clenched his jaw.

Stiles was gone, gone where, someone was in him, and he was barely holding it together. Scott battled his wolf, his muscles tense, unable to talk to Kira or even notice her at the moment. Because it wouldn't be that hard for him to snap and attack whatever was nearest, including her.

Pain.

Since learning she had a healing ability, she'd never really had to use it. All of Kira's injuries had been pretty minor, or nothing at all compared to some of the others. Minor, or nothing but in her head. Maybe she'd been lucky. She'd been so close to escaping, but he got the best of her. She couldn't be surprised, he was old, powerful and had a lot of experience.

Kira bit back a scream, because she would not give it that satisfaction, even if it was gone. Her arm dropped to her side and she let out a small whimper of pain. She would heal. She knew it would. She'd just never gone through it, and she hoped for whatever reason it didn't not kick in soon.

It was gone, she was sure of it. The sound of Scott's nails had her look up again. She wiped away the tears in her eyes with her sleeve, and turned to the boy she cared for, who didn't even know her. "Scott." she said carefully, not moving any closer. If she was getting attacked again, she wanted at least some distance between them. "Scott, look at me." what had he done in the past to focus his wolf? "You need to stay with me, Scott. We can't help Stiles without you."

Scott didn't know her voice, it was new to him, he curled up against the wall to keep space between them. He might not know Kira, but he didn't want to hurt her, he didn't want to hurt anyone. His nails dug harder into the wall, these were going to be permanent marks, and he would have to apologize to his mom. If she ever showed up. God all he wanted was her to be here. She'd make everything better. It was probably juvenile to want his mother, but she was always best at focusing Scott.

"I can't control it, I can't control it." This was happening for awhile now, ever since they stopped Jennifer, but he'd put it aside. Focused on Stiles. And the weird situation they were in. But pushing it aside wasn't going to work now. The alpha in him wanted to be aggressive, so Scott backed up several feet until he was in the corner of the room, breathing heavily. "I can't help Stiles, I can't help anyone."

"Yes you can." she wished he knew her, wished he thought something about her opinion. But she was pretty much back to square one and this was a horrible time for it. "You can, because I've seen you do it. You can save Stiles. You've saved me before. You always find a way. You just need to trust in your own abilities." She didn't really know the Scott that didn't seem to have control of himself. All she could do was keep talking and maybe, hopefully, she'd say something that clicked with them.

She kept face him as he moved himself into a corner. Her arm was already starting to feel a little better. It wasn't healed, but it had kicked in. She needed him to see that he could put trust in himself. Kira took a few steps toward him, counting on the fact that he could control himself and not hurt her. "I'm putting my faith in you. That you won't hurt me. You need to believe that you are capable of holding on to who you really are."

God, that sounded cheesy. Way to go, Kira.

Scott scrambled back when she came closer, which was impossible since he was already pressed against the wall. He was afraid for her, not of her. His eyes glowed a dangerous red, his senses unstable, and he needed to shut the door. Wherever the door was, in his head, it needed to be shut, but he didn't know how to do that. He needed Deaton, or Derek, or anyone who knew better than him, which he felt sometimes was everyone but him. Outside of his fear and pounding heart, he finally started to hear her words. They got through to his head and he tentatively turned his head in her direction.

She trusted him. Whatever was between them in the future, she had faith in him, and Scott didn't know what he did to earn it. But he wasn't going to betray it. Scott focused on that instead, that feeling. Protection. Caring. Stiles needed him. He was his brother. He couldn't fall apart. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath in and out. Each breath helped the tension unfurl in his chest, and when he opened his eyes again, they were faded back to the dark natural brown.

"I'm sorry. I'm sorry he ---" He swallowed and unsteadily stood straight up, running hands through his hair frantically. "Okay, we need to call everyone. We need to get them to ... I don't know. Talk." He really needed to get it together more by the time they got there, because he wasn't a good leader at this point. He shakily moved back to get his phone to send out the message, get them all there. Then his eyes shifted back to her, and he felt guilty. "Oh my god, I'm sorry, your arm. Are you okay? Do you need anything?"

Relieved when his eyes went from red to brown, Kira breathed out a sigh of relief and then stepped backward until her found a chair, sitting herself down in it. She felt exhausted and the day was really only getting started, based on what Scott was saying.

"I'll heal." she reassured him with a smile. "I'm kind of like you in that way." her uninjured arm was resting lightly against her injured, guarding it as she waited for it to get better.

"Yeah, you should probably get them here, we'll need to catch them up. But first I need to catch you up." she said looking up at him. "They have no reason to trust me. But if you believe me, they are more likely to as well. There are things that happened in time...that you need to know about so you can prevent." Horrible things, the hospital and police station massacre, Allison, even the Aiden on some level. He was their Alpha, even if they weren't all wolves. He was their Alpha so he needed to decide what to do.

When she was sure she had his attention, so began to tell him about the events that happened, the attacks the nogitsune had done on the hospital and police station (she assured Scott that both his mom and the Sheriff had made it through), to what the creepy flies would do, to what had become to Allison and the twins. She didn't tell the whole story of what had brought about the Nogitsune, because she figured she was going to have to do that anyway when the others got here.

Scott listened to her with growing horror mixed with numbness, especially when she got to the parts he couldn't fathom. No. No he wasn't going to hear it. He wasn't going to believe that part, or maybe she was right, and they could change this right here. Because of that he was going to ignore the possibility. Allison wasn't dead. He wouldn't let that happen to her. More and more pain filled his eyes when she explained, and the fact they stopped him at the end, it didn't necessarily make any of it better.

He nodded slowly after she was done and let out a breath he was holding. "Okay ... we'll talk more about ... whatever that was soon." He sent out the message to everyone and put a hand on her good shoulder. "I'm sorry he did that to you. We're going to figure it out." Scott was saying it tonelessly though, as if he didn't really believe it. And maybe he didn't, not yet. It was still too much of a shock. Now they just had to wait for the others to get there.
