Scott had no idea what to make of this new wrinkle. It was crazy enough trying to figure out what was happening to them plus this 'door' situation plus their family being gone. And now Jackson was back and some girl he hadn't heard of before. She seemed nice, and Scott rarely assumed the worst when he met people. Even though he'd been burned a few times by now, he still wanted to greet new people as if they were friends, not foes. It was a healthier way of looking at the world, and getting harder every time a new villain popped up in his life.
He was starting to text Stiles when he heard the knock and decided he'd finish that later. He'd probably want to know all about the new girl, and he could tell Lydia and Allison at the same time. Scott put his phone to the side and answered the door. He was in jeans and a t-shirt, nothing special, and the house was somewhat clean. Not nearly as organized as when his mother was around, but he was trying really hard to make it okay. If she did show up, he didn't want her first comment to be 'you couldn't do dishes by yourself?' It was cluttered though, with his stuff and some of Stiles' there.
"Hi." He wasn't sure what he expected, since she said she was a student, but he blinked a few times when he saw her. Oh. Pretty fellow classmate. Got it. Okay. "Hi." He already said that. "I'm ... you know who I am." Awkward. "Uhhhh come in?"
