*arrived yesterday in Sirion and was rather taken aback at how familiar it all seems, in spite of the fast food joints and supermarkets* *is very taken by the hotel on the seafront (though not as taken by it as Idril is) and is very satisfied with the security measures put in place by Rôg*
*wakes up (or is woken up by Ecthelion) good and early on the morning of the wedding, which is at noon* *indulges in a pint or two in the hotel bar to steady his nerves (and has no idea why Ecthelion is so nervous, seeing as he's not the one getting married today) (not that Tuor is nervous either, of course!)*
*finally, just before noon, is standing at the top of a makeshift aisle on the beach, enjoying the very end of the warm(-ish) autumn sunshine*
*murmuring* Now I'll allow that kilts probably weren't the best choice. Still, my skin hue must match my blue tartan, right? |

*Constructs an elaborate fleet of paper ships and sets them afloat in Ecthelion's fountain.*
*Takes a deep breath, huffs and puffs at the boats to create a miniature gale (idly wonders if it's blasphemous to play at pretending to be Manwë).*
*Pushes his hand through the water to simulate a wave (has a strong, unexplainable suspicion that Ulmo doesn't have a problem with blasphemy).* |

*can't decide if she's excited or worried for Idril's return to Gondolin, particularly after her unpleasant encounter with Elenwë*
*on one hand, Idril was actually starting to like her before... everything*

*ends up in the foyer around the time they're due to return* *really wishes Pete would stop looking at her like she needs to be tackled and restrained* |

*couldn't see the sea when they arrived in Sirion the night before*
*doesn't want to wait a minute longer, though, now that the day is here and there's more water to play in than you can find in a fountain*
*drags his parents out to the beach and stops and stares when he sees all that water that goes on and on forever*
*walks forward slowly* Wow. |

*takes a walk with Eärendil down to the House of the Fountain to meet Ecthelion for lunch* *comes bearing sandwiches even if she didn't make them herself!*
*sits on the front steps and kicks off her shoes, watching smilingly as Eärendil splashes in the fountain*
*graciously turns down the Fountain staff's attempts to invite her inside (because if she doesn't go in, he'll have to come out, and it's just such a lovely day)* |

*doesn't recognize a lot of the buildings and people and thinks that's really strange and maybe someone's playing a silly joke on him?*
*gets to his house and realizes someone must be playing a joke on him, because that building's not his house*
*sits down on a bench and stares up at the sign* "Gondolin Memorial"...? |
