Summary: Demeter’s children arrive to visit their mother at her newly completed Grove the day after Zale’s official birthday. There, she reveals more about what she’s been through the last two years, and then she gives both her children gifts of a supernatural nature. Her son’s birthday gift is of a more drastically reality-altering variety, should he choose to actually use it. Afterwards, the three go for a picnic in the beautiful, but surreal woods which guard the earth goddess’s home.

Summary: Hades was waiting to pick up Zale from his after-school activity. What he didn’t expect was Demeter to be around the school as well. It goes as well as you can guess.

Summary: Persephone worries about how Hades will react when he returns home for dinner after her less than encouraging texts to her, but the combination of his daughter, food and her blatant seduction cooled his anger down to a low roar, allowing him to enjoy comforts they both probably needed.

Summary: Father's Day isn't a great time for Zale with his biological father somewhere in Europe with his twin sister. However, his real dad his uncle made sure to spend some time with him today... But Hades' plans are never that simple.

The two chat, meet Helen after her nap, then settle down for a serious conversation of clay that Zale may not have fully expected. Really, a pre-teen with tragedy around Melpomene should think before accepting an art offer.

Something was different today. Ed and Eric could almost sense it.

Or at least, it seemed that way to Hestia, the way their eyes and ears followed her as they sat on the kitchen floor on their blanket, toys to keep them happy while she put together the last treats for their first ever birthday party. While they seemed rather nonplussed about it, unaware of the special day, Hestia could barely contain herself. Her only sons had lived an entire year... had made it through a risky pregnancy and birth, and look at them now. She couldn't help but feel proud of it all, and yet, humbled. Humming happily, she put some cupcakes aside and continued work on the cake. Punch could wait.
