Drabble Day: Prompt No. 7

(hahahaha, No. 7. hahahaah. shup, it is ridic o'clock here, and everything's amusing).

One time, just one time, I would like to write a drabble, love it the way it is, then check the word count and find it is 100 already. Gaaaah.

Ready for another prompt? Doesn't matter if you're not, you've still got most of the day. Keep rocking this shit!

Nina likes them in stupid flavours. Cherry, strawberry, banana, cinnamon. Which is ridiculous and frustrating, because if you wanted to eat something cherry-flavoured, a normal person would just get something cherry-flavoured, right? Or they might go crazy and get, y'know, actual cherries.

No one's ever accused Nina of being a normal person, though, so Vanessa plods on gamely, sitting too close to her when she helps her with the maths homework, surreptitiously staring at the shiny coat of gloss on Nina's lips.

Sometimes she borrows it and licks it off her own lips, because she's a sucker for self-torture, apparently.

Axel würde es niemals irgendjemandem verraten. Nicht Nina, nicht seinem Tagebuch. Wenn es ginge, würde er es nicht mal sich selbst verraten. Aber:

Axel liebt Lipgloss!

Wie er sich auf seinen Lippen anfühlt, wie er schmeckt und glitzert, wenn er ihn gerade frisch aufgetragen hat.

Er steht manchmal vor dem Spiegel und dreht seinen Kopf von links nach rechts. Schaut ob der Lipgloss perfekt aufgetragen wurde.

Und dann starrt er sich selbst in die Augen und kann nicht glauben, was er da tut. Er ist Dr. Axel Steinkamp-Schwarz. Er ist immer korrekt. Er tut so etwas nicht.

Er ist normal!

"I'm not sharing my lipgloss with you. It's unhygienic." Nina puts the tube back into her purse.
Vanessa pulls her closer, places a kiss on her lips, sucks her harder until their tongues are entwined.
When Nina gasps for air, Vanessa asks: "What's unhygienic about this?

So I accidentally wrote a companion piece to antiteb's drabble...

"Come on, there has to be something we can use as lube!"
Deniz digs around Axel's desk drawer. "I mean, look at the guy, I bet he goes through a ton of hand lotion."
Roman chuckles from his position in Axel's leather chair, stroking himself lazily.
"He's not all that bad."
Deniz just glares.
"Not what I wanna hear right now. Ha!"
Smiling triumphantly he holds up a tube of cherry lip gloss.
Roman laughs.
"Are you sure that's gonna work?"
"If it doesn't it'll at least taste good," Deniz says with a wink before he bends over the desk.

Wow, let's see if we can find the common thread here...

-Vanessa's pining after Nina and her lipgloss
-Nina is dating Axel who secretly has a fetish for her lipgloss
-and steals it and leaves it in his desk
-where it is found and used as lube by DeRo
-and eventually Vanessa gets enough of pining and enforces glossy Nina-snoggage (possibly we need a step in between the last two.)

Diese Show würde ihn noch umbringen. Marc wunderte sich über sich selbst. Warum war er nur so scharf auf diese Idee? Sie wollte ihn nicht mehr loslassen. Alle erklärten ihn für verrückt. Ein Märchen auf dem Eis, dafür würden sie ein Publikum finden. Mit ein bisschen Lipgloss und viel Glitter wäre das zu schaffen. Aber Frankenstein? Er hatte nächtelang über dem Original gehockt; sich die Augen aus dem Kopf gelesen. Dieser Gedanke machte ihn fast wahnsinnig.

Er lächelte. Wenn es sein musste, würde er selbst auf das Eis zurückkehren. Ob als Doktor oder seine Kreatur, das würde er noch entscheiden.

If anyone asks, it’s not true that Mike once attacked Lars with Stella’s rosegrape lipgloss. It certainly wasn’t done in grim retribution for having to lug Lars’s semi-comatose arse up from No. 7 after another heavy night on the whisky.

He didn’t start with Lars’s lips (naturally). He didn’t giggle as he added a pink moustache or look wistful as he traced the dark circles under Lars’s eyes with the sticky glitter.

What Mike absolutely denies is that he then pried open Lars’s shirt and painted glossy circles round his nipples.

There is absolutely no way he licked it off.
