If anyone asks, it’s not true that Mike once attacked Lars with Stella’s rosegrape lipgloss. It certainly wasn’t done in grim retribution for having to lug Lars’s semi-comatose arse up from No. 7 after another heavy night on the whisky.

He didn’t start with Lars’s lips (naturally). He didn’t giggle as he added a pink moustache or look wistful as he traced the dark circles under Lars’s eyes with the sticky glitter.

What Mike absolutely denies is that he then pried open Lars’s shirt and painted glossy circles round his nipples.

There is absolutely no way he licked it off.
