Pairing: Harry Potter/Draco Malfoy, with a bit of Severus Snape on the side.

Summary: Harry has a bit of a wand problem. Draco may be able to help him with the solution.
Warnings: BDSM, to include "the basics," plus a very tiny bit of bloodplay.

OMG that line was terrific! You had such terrific tension going and then that! I love you!

It's funny that you last lines talked about how the future hadn't been written, but for Harry, his life was/is about the future having been written in advance. It was definately a fair question for him to ask. I hope he finds his future with Draco.

Well done! I can't wait to read it all over again!

This was... I really enjoyed this. I very, very often have the problem with fics using BDSM that I don't understand the mindset of the submissive. Not because I don't understand it in the "real world" but because the stories aren't written in such a way that I can see why or how the character could choose to be in such a position. With this story, though, I could understand, and that really impressed me.

The logic of this is just so right. If the HP series wasn't designed to be kid-friendly, this could be canon. There is now way JKR is going to convince me that Harry (among any number of other characters) could just walk away from the events of the past seven years and suddenly start leading a "normal" life. Any attempts at it would be utter denial on his part. As you've clearly demonstrated with this fic. Heh. There are so many layers of things going on here.

I LOVE your Kreacher. Mwahaha! I want a house elf just like him.

The "Dumbledore was gay" insertion was awesome. ::snicker::

The ending was perfect. And perhaps it was a tiny bit of meta concerning the significance of the epilogue-that-hasn't-happened-yet as well? ::grin::

What a lucky girl I am!!! And what a fantastic treat to come home to this evening. Thank you so, SO much for this most excellent fic! There's so much I want to talk about--characterization, inventive magic, the, um, hottest sex in the world . . .

Characterization. I loved Harry in this. I thought you did an amazing job with his overall character and especially how he was affected by the Elder Wand. It felt natural and real to me. Excellent. Snape was fantastic. There's not much more I could say about him (other than he was fantastic!!). Draco--especially when in Dom mode--was really great. In canon, I've always thought that Draco is "dominant" but he's not dominant. What I mean is he's commanding, but he still looks to others for direction. You played with that brilliantly by having Snape as the Master of them all. And, given how little control Draco's had over his life, I could easily see him as the dominant in a sexual relationship with a peer. (and in the same vein, I can easily see Harry as the more submissive partner--wanting to let go).

Inventiveness. I love magical theory and you did a fantastic job of coming up with an incredible way to deal with the Elder Wand issue and make teh sex make sense--not just in a "oh, it makes sense that they're having sex now" sense, but in a characterization sense. When Draco told Harry that he held pain and let it fester, I was nodding right along. Really fantastic. Also, Draco as a wandmaker is ingenious. The ritual was fantastic and well done. It felt very three-dimensional to me. What I mean by that is that the ritual scene worked on so many different levels, touched on so many different aspects of the story. It was well integrated.

The sex. Well. What more can I say? It was amazing. I don't know if you have a lot of experience with D/s, but you you really seem to know your stuff--especially your description of subspace and what Draco did to keep Harry from falling too far down the hole. A subtle point, but an important one. And Harry's inability to experience pleasure! That was perfection! Of course this is what he would struggle with. He could take all of the pain in the world, frankly even the submission, but having to ask for what he wanted, to revel in it, to take pleasure because he wanted it--it was both a deeply shaming and deeply liberating act for him. Again--that felt very "canon" to me, in that I think Harry has always had trouble asking for what "he" wants and taking it.

I'm incredibly lucky to have received such an outstanding gift. Thank you for all of your very, very hard work on this and for taking the time to craft such a fantastic story for me.

Well, that threesome was a bit different. Actually, a whole lot different! Plot was interesting. Another of those differences. The wandlore was thought-provoking and very original (I'm assuming you made all of that up.) The relationship between Draco and Harry, Draco and Severus, Harry and La Weasley were well thought out and, frankly, closer to what I think of as canon. (I thought Luna was a better match for Harry than Ginny anyways. Draco will do as well.)

I love the maturity that Draco has gained. It was logical, based on his life experience.

All round, a great read, and one to be reread often.

empathic_siren's gift is ours as well.

Okay, this is one of the hottest things I have ever read in my FUCKING LIFE. I was panting and kept squealing and my roommate kept asking if I was okay.

I love the way you write, and the plot was integrated.

I really had a sense that your Harry was the Harry from canon. I find it rare that it's true. I LOVE sexually experienced!Draco and awkward!Harry. And I love that the sex was used as a means to an end. It was wonderful just for the p0rn, but it brought many problems in Harry's life to the forefront. I love the characterization here.

AND OMG. The Snape fangirl in me is kissing you relentlessly for having Snape involved in the sex. Ooooh, GOD. Okay, I'll stop moaning like a wanton slut (which I am), but thank you so much for a wonderful fic.

This was amazing.

I don't think I have the words necessary to express how much I loved this fic. It was so well composed and the plot was so strong that even before the sexual part I was already salivating.

And then the way you described Harry's emotions during his submission, it was so realistic that I can only hang my head in respect. To be able to make a virgin this believable in their first sexual act, one that is also quite advanced BDSM, is something that boggles my mind. And you did it.

The way you portrayed all the characters, sticking to the cannon and still making them yours for this fic is impressive.

I loved every single character from Harry, Draco and Snape to Michael, Kreacher and Ginny. You managed to give even the supporting cast enough presence to leave impact.

And your portrait!Snape was great.

The interaction between Harry and Draco made me want to be there, see it all, and even more, to wish I was inside each of their heads to feel it, experience it all, along with them.

Thank you for sharing this piece of art. It was a pleasure to read it.

I don't know about

empathic_siren (well, I do, and agree with her) but that pressed all my buttons - logical set-up, in character post-DH people (including Kreacher), magical theory and practical sex-magic. Sometimes I bless JKR for inventing a world where this sort of BDSM fic is not only possible, but logical. And for writers as convincing as you (whoever you are...)

I really enjoyed this! I loved what you did with the Elder Wand - great plot, very interesting. I could so see Harry feeling like that about his life. The sex was hot and it was refreshing to see a top!Draco. But mostly, I enjoyed Snape giving orders to both of them. When he appeared as a portrait in the spare room a grin of delight split my face.

Snape going to give a report to Dumbledore made me snicker more!

And I loved that meta kind of reference to the Epilogue at the end - JKR writing about a future that hasn't happened yet. And maybe it never happened. Yes, I like that thought. *g*

Somehow, at the end, what comes to mind is the quote from Yoda: "Always in motion is the future." It's not entirely out of place, but certainly odd.

I loved this fic. Then again, Harry bound, gagged and blindfolded is always a good thing :)

Amazing the way you took the end of DH and twisted it for your own ends -- and it worked perfectly. There wasn't anything there that felt out of place. And the theory of the wands was quite well-crafted.

What an.. unusal way to approach such a problem. Woah, but I liked it, very much so, thank you! Additional points for clever use of portrait Snape ;)

And apart from that spectacular second part.. I'm still in awe and a tad surprised at how you maintained that dark theme throughout the whole thing. Especially Harry's thoughts and memories when he remembers, and that perverse golden path.. such sadness.. Brilliant, thanks again.

Absolutely fantastic. I loved everything: the beginning was perfect, exactly how I'd imagine the meeting between Narcissa, Draco and Harry in such circumstances. Very in character, and very emotional at the same time.

I loved how you slowly built your story, given us time to adjust to Harry and Ginny's failing relationship, and the wandlore theory was nicely crafted. Kreacher and Snape made wonderful side characters. And for the BDSM, well, very original setting, brilliantly done.
