Inoue Orihime
It's almost dinner time, but I just wanted to let you know that Ushiro-kun is coming over again! It's the first time he and Sado-kun and I are really going to all hang out together. [her expression softening] I hope he'll come to stay with us. Kana-chan was really worried about him, and I don't want her to be sad...

[the way Orihime was sad] Anyway! [getting up off her knees and smiling at the shrine] I have to go get everything ready. Good night, brother!

Good night! Good night Brother!

[Orihime gets up off her knees and picks up Edward and the bag from the ramen stand and heads to the kitchen without another look back. It's been kind of a busy day for her, cramming in everything she can, and she's completely exhausted, but she's humming to herself as she unpacks the food she got for dinner. She was too busy to cook, so they'll just have to make do with this... But she is excited to have dinner with Sado-kun and Ushiro-kun together!]

[It's well into the evening and Kaoru is still out. More like he's still at the library. Hearing Hikaru earlier makes him thing that maybe there's been a step backwards in his brother's progression. It's really hard to judge some of this simply because of one factor they had at home and one that's not here. Their argument back home never really had been settled and it's impossible for it to be fully resolved until that little factor appeared here, which is not really something Kaoru wants. Yet at the same time he does because really... He really has the nastier personality of the two of them. It would make things easier...

And he then wouldn't have to be sitting here, a book open at one of the tables. Kaoru had been reading it, really. But he soon lost interest in it halfway through and instead had been doodling/plotting in a notebook. His expression is clearly distracted and he's tapping the pencil on the notebook. Tap tap tap tap.

He just doesn't know anymore what he can do to really help Hikaru. It had been pretty clear before but now it just seems he's run out of routes to take...

A sigh and he pushes the thing from him, swinging an arm around the back of the chair and leaning.]

What now...

Touma Kamijou
[ Close to sunset, Touma was back on the streets, wandering. It's not to clear his head, but rather to fill it. Anything except the inevitable destructive end of this place, or the emptiness left behind in the places that once were filled with... Well, if he knew what was in the burned out recesses of his mind, he wouldn't be moving around so aimlessly.

There was a small limp in his step, but it was still easier to walk than before. Has he always healed this fast? That frog-faced doctor might have known, but even facts about what his own body and his own mind were capable of were now lost to Touma.

He wanted to ask Acumen a question, but he couldn't come to terms with the possibility that he didn't want the answer.

Before it gets too dark, he should really get back into the Shelter. What if those things came back?

He stopped in front of the doors to the movie theater, its bright lights and colorful posters catching his eye. Maybe Asuka was right. Maybe he just needs to find something to do. ]

(( OOC: changed from the arcade to the theater, because it hardly gets used. <3 ))
