Remember that black eye? Well, it turned out to be a rash, which turned out to be shingles ;_;

So yeah, I'm actually quite sick, which means I'll be in and out of bed all day for anywhere from a couple of weeks to a couple of months, and will have to rest my eye even more than I expected. This is stupid, as a) I've never had chicken pox and b) I've had the shingles vaccine. Apparently I am a medical miracle.

Sooo, I woke up today and the first thing my dad told me was that we're going on a road trip down to San Francisco tomorrow. FRIDAY.

...Yeah, I don't know either.

So! Since it'll take us about a day to get down there minus the stop over in Oregon for gelato, sleeping, and buying ~*~NO TAX ITEMS~*~, my tagging might be a little sporadic because I'll be mainly using my phone. We'll be staying all...over...California basically for about five days, so the phone comes with me then, too!

In a nutshell I'm taking a short vacay and will be on slowatus from July 15 16 ~ 21. That'll explain why GIR hasn't made something explode in a while, right?

my mood is ~*~great~*~ and the little bit of depression and sleepiness I had for a while has passed. So I can tag! yeah man idek why i felt so terrible. maybe part of it was because my cat has worms and he might die? I don't even...

My computer's power cord just died for some reason. I'm going to try make it start working again, but I might have to shut off my computer until I have a place to evacuate my files. So...if I abruptly start tagging at a glacial pace, it's because Vel and I have resumed the One Computer In The Room Dance. ><

Don't worry, I won't do one of these every week! But since we're just starting up and there seems to be some confusion:

TO SEND MAIL

1. Place a brief comment on the OOC mail post if you want to send mail for "today's" route! Please don't detail the contents of the letter there. The exception is for packages or letters that are OBVIOUSLY against the guidelines.

2. The IC post will go up on Friday. This post is where the contents of your letters and packages will go. ♥ Thread amongst yourselves or with PM or not at all!

4. The OOC post will be cleared and relinked with every IC mail post so you won't have to search too hard for it. It is also available on our splendid Wiki, though I desperately need to reorganize the page.

5. Repeat!

The point of the OOC post is so that I can label the IC post appropriately for those receiving mail--plus, it makes things a little less chaotic, as without it people would have to constantly check back and see if their characters got mail, and it wouldn't necessarily be clear on when something should be delivered!
