Duets: A glee redo rpg


Do you love glee? Do you wish they had done the stories differently? Then this is the game for you. No set ships, they will be up to the player. This is an AU game that has the option to be canon compliant. It’s pretty much open. OCs are welcome. The canons are first come, first served. And since this is an AU game, you can play around a little with their backgrounds. But not too much. If you aren’t sure, ask a mod. Game takes place during glee’s first season to begin with. We will be doing a month per three episodes. So, we would take a month for episodes 1-3, for example. You have all of that month to change things, or do new things. Then we will move on.

There is no warning, no way to know that when you lay your head down to sleep you would wake to find yourself in another place entirely.


The Nowhere is a panfandom, original friendly game which takes place in a world which is essentially a blank slate in the beginning. It is a world which will grow and develop as more characters are introduced. While the starting plot is the arrival of people from their original universes this is not the only plot which will take place in The Nowhere, in fact the goings on which surround the displaced will continually change as more characters are introduced and their worlds bleed into this one. Every month or two the displaced will find themselves in a new universe and facing different trials and challenges. Who is doing all of this? We're sure you will find out fairly soon but for now they have some trails to face - gender swaps, age changes, powers - sometimes they will be down right cruel and twisted, pushing people to their limits and beyond.

The only thing left to do is step out the door and see what is waiting for you...

In Harry Potter's 5th year of Hogwarts, everything is turned upside down: in an attempt to prevent Tom Riddle from being elected Minister of Magic, Professor Dumbledore has announced his campaign to run; in his stead, Professor McGonagall has assumed the post of Hogwarts Headmistress; & a singing club, open to 4th years and above and directed by Professors Flitwick and Trelawney, has begun in the name of inter-house (and inter-politics) unity. Will Harry Potter find his home in Hogwarts' new musical ensemble? Will Tom Riddle be elected Minister of Magic in May of next year, ushering in a new wave of conservatism in Wizarding Britain? Can anyone at Hogwarts even hold a tune? All this and more shall be answered in Gleewarts RPG...

Gleewarts RPG is a new AU Harry Potter RPG with elements of Glee, the Fox TV show, mixed in just for good measure. Students from every house can elect to participate in the Hogwarts singing ensemble after a successful audition for Professors Flitwick and Trelawney. They'll need to make time to prepare for singing competitions in addition to making sure to ace their OWLs and NEWTs and debating what's best for the future of Wizarding Britain, rule under Professor Dumbledore or Tom Riddle.

In the world of Gleewarts, the first war never occurred (as Tom Riddle is more a political figure rather than a dictator trying to take over the world, etc. etc.), so all characters who'd passed away then, like Harry's parents, may be alive and well depending on how the player would like to play their character. Feel free to take creative liberties; just make sure to give your character an interest in music and, perhaps, an additional interest in the upcoming election. All characters are available for play, but keep in mind that characters in 4th year and above will get the most action in-game.

The year is 2044 and the corporations have taken over. They abuse their power and make back alley deals with any body to keep the money flowing. The needs of the people have taken a back seat to corporate greed and prosperity. While battles are fought in the board room the streets are over run with anarchy and violence. Maniacs like Spellbinder, Shriek, and Mad Stan threaten the system while gang warfare between The Jokerz and The T's disrupt everyday life.

Chaos runs rampant on the streets and spreads across the bay area. Crime is no longer waged by the common man. The superstitious and cowardly lot is dead and now the time of the supervillain has come. Elections are bought and paid for everyday and the terrorist group Kobra seeks to put their own candidate in office. Police do what they can to stop the violence but it's just not enough. More villains are appearing and branching out. More help is required. More heroes are needed. The time to stand together is at hand. Who will stand up to these clandestine threats?

DC Beyond is a game set in the futuristic world of Batman Beyond and draws heavily from the cannon and history of the DCAU. It has been four years since the events of Batman Beyond began. This game takes place in the futuristic cities of Neo-Gotham, Metropolis and Bludhaven to allow for unique settings and interaction between characters. Next-Gen characters are welcome here and as are Original Characters. More detailed information on those two character types can be found in the Character Guide. Watching the show Batman Beyond is not required but is highly recommended as things have changed in the last forty years.

The year is 2047. Almost ten years have passed since the Genome Project was shut down. Everyone from Frye Island has been evacuated to the mainland and the government encourages the continuation of their lives. But it hasn't been easy.

It's no secret that the mutants are different from the average human. With powers and abilities that normal people don't possess, many are even considered dangerous. Of course, with good comes evil and everything that encompasses it.

The Genome Project is a game focusing on a group of mutants from a scientific experiment gone wrong, trying to assimilate themselves into a world where they're discriminated against. Where does your character fit in? Find out, and apply!

House of M transformed the Marvel Universe forever; even when it was undone, things never went back exactly the same way as before. Of course, that's what happened to Earth-616. Over on Earth-69, things went a little differently. Instead of "No more mutants," the fateful words that changed the universe were "No more women."

The magic took that rather literally, turning every woman into a man and erasing everyone's memory that something strange had happened. The men of the world just went right along doing what they'd always done: getting drunk, having sex, starting fights, and living out their lives day after day. The whole world was one big locker room.

Eventually, however, they got fed up with mutants and metahumans. After a bloody conflict, the humans banished them to an island nation to keep the peace. When they did, they wound up creating the best set-up for long days and nights of fun and frolicking in a tropical paradise the world had ever seen.		 Men of Marvel

The dark times are upon the human race in this world. The prophecy has started to take shape. Newcomers from all realities are landing in our world and only time will tell how they will change our fate. These strange visitors, these 'chosen ones' are figures from what was left of our pop culture-they are from books and movies, television and comics. We once thought they were fictional but have now realized that they simply existed in another place and another time from our reality.

Now it is up to them to decide whether they will help us or send us to our doom.


Reality Crisis is a multi-fandom game accepting most action/adventure, horror, fantasy, and sci-fi fandoms. We are an active, friendly game and we would love to have a few more characters to add to our roster. We regularly run challenges and gamewide plots to keep things moving and to keep mixing up the players and characters, and we also have a much larger gamewide plot/plan in place that's slowly unfolding.

Most wanted characters include (but are not limited to!): Lex Luthor from Smallville, Any DC comics (or movieverse, TV, etc) characters, especially: Nightwing, Robin, Huntress, etc. Any Marvel Comicsverse or Movieverse characters, particularly Charles Xavier and Nick Fury.

Oracle/Barbara Gordon -> I have Pepper Potts {[info]twostepsahead} who's trying to figure out a network of superheroes to call on when dealing with villains. An Oracle would be greatly appreciated by all, plus there's a ton of plot for her from whatever point in canon she's taken from!
Lucius Fox -> Batman & Alfred need some help man. Plus, who doesn't love Morgan Freeman?
Nick Fury -> He's a serious need. We have quite a few Avengers and we desperately need someone to take charge of them and make them a team!
Hawkeye -> We have the rest of the Avengers assembled. We need you!
Spider-Man Villains -> We have a Spider-Man & MJ Watson in game, plus a few villains, but a Spider-Man villain would be lots of fun to try and round out the crew! Green Goblin is requested by MJ!
The Tudors -> We have an Anne Boleyn in game who would love some cast mates!
Harry Potter Cast -> Harry ([info]boltingly) and Hermione ([info]ms_smartypants) would love to see a Ron Weasley, Severus Snape, Bellatrix LeStrange, and Voldemort.
A Song of Ice and Fire -> Robb, Sansa, Cersei, Jamie, Joffrey, Samwell Tarly, Stannis Baratheon, and Ygritte are the major wants. We currently have a Ned, Arya, Jon, and Bran in game.
Star Wars -> Padme is in game and she'd love an Anakin, Luke and Leia to come join her!

Another turning point
A fork stuck in the road...

High school isn't the best time of your life -- college is.

What if the kids of New Directions never met in high school, but in college instead?  Welcome to William McKinley University in Lima, OH.  Performing may have been a passion in high school, but does it stand up to the pressures of college and preparing for the world beyond Lima?

All the While is a Glee college AU set at the fictional William McKinley University, where the familiar faces of New Directions and their friends and rivals can be re-imagined as college students -- older, and presumably wiser, everyone is just trying to find themselves before they're thrust into this 'real world' that everyone keeps talking about.

No set ships, characters from all schools in Glee canon available, and OCs are welcome.
