I'm one of the mods over at [info]sixdegreesmod, and there are several lines we'd love to see filled!

A bit about us... Six Degrees is a canon-compliant (not epilogue-compliant) Harry Potter RPG set in 2006. We allow any character listed in the HP Lexicon or Wiki, as well as original characters that have connections to other canon characters in the game (siblings, etc.). Our focus is on character connections, the "six degrees of separation" that, on average, connects any two people in six steps or fewer. We opened up a month ago and have almost fifty characters in the game already, but would love to see some new players!

And here's what we're looking for!
  • We need guys! Right now we have almost twice as many girls than guys!

  • Quidditch players! Especially for the Ballycastle Bats, Holyhead Harpies, Kenmare Kestrels, or Montrose Magpies, who all have players in the game already! (More quidditch details are here.)

  • Hogwarts professors! Healers! Ministry folk! Daily Prophet employees! We have connections in all these places.

  • My character Eddie MacDougal ([info]tartaned) would love to see his boss, Alastair Bannatyne, the owner of the Montrose Magpies! Eddie is his personal assistant, and I've always pictured Alastair as a sort of eccentric Scotsman (with Jamie Hyneman's face, for bonus points).

  • Morag MacDougal ([info]odysseys) is looking for a business partner at her fashion boutique!

  • Siblings! A lot of characters are missing their family members... My character Quinn Abercrombie ([info]notfitch) would love to see his older brother, Euan Abercrombie! Euan was a Gryffindor who started in '95, and there's lots of conflict between him and Quinn. Wayne Hopkins ([info]knighthood) is looking for his younger sister, Georgina Hopkins, who may be involved with the Hopkins' black market dealings! Pansy Parkinson ([info]tangledingreen) is looking for her younger sister, Posy Parkinson! Melinda Bobbin ([info]quieter) is looking for her twin brother, Malcolm Bobbin and older sister, Marina Bobbin! Alicia Spinnet ([info]spins_it) is looking for her older brother, Patrick Spinnet! And Michael Corner is looking for his younger sister, Julie Corner!

  • Alicia Spinnet ([info]spins_it) is also looking for potential jerk ex-boyfriends!

You wake up and you're in a room. The last thing you remember is pain, maybe. Your mind is swimming. Your body tingles - maybe itches? - and when you look around, you realize you are definitely not Kansas anymore, Toto. How did you get here?

You jump out of bed and catch a glimpse of yourself in the mirror and what you see makes you groan. You approach with caution and you touch your cheeks. You press your hands onto the dresser and stare at the young stranger looking back at you.

On the dresser, you find a letter:

Welcome to Pan High! Congratulations, you're one of our chosen few who've been given a wonderful opportunity. Our philosophy here at Pan High is if you believe it, you will achieve it! At Pan High, we have some of the most diverse and exceptionally brilliant students.

The school is one of the leading educational institutions of the country. With a state of the art facility, Pan High School offers a wide variety of educational tools that benefit our student's education. Students from all around come to study at our illustrious school. With a college bound mentality, Pan High has a state of the art residence hall for our visiting students with all the amenities they could desire: gyms, pools, rec rooms, basketball courts, etc.

Pan High is a multifandom game that takes characters from different fandoms and takes them back to high school. What do you do when you've spent your whole life battling the forces of evil and you're given the chance to start over?

Pan High School is located in the city of Arcadia in Southern California. No one knows it exists, and you don't really find it -- it finds you. Maybe you've wanted a new beginning, or you've gotten tired with your life, or maybe you just want to try something new -- everyone's story is different, everyone was taken from a different point in their life. There are rumors of unknown danger and magic in the city of Arcadia and strange things lurking about at night. Some say, in the dead of night, the song of the Great God Pan can be heard. But that's just local legends.

Help!

Hey guys!! I'm playing Wash from Firefly over at [info]ratalhearth_mod and I need a Zoe Washburne! She would need to be from the end of the movie, Serenity, so that she thinks her husband is dead, and then poof! she shows up here and her husband is in one piece and his usual silly self! I think it could be a great story line and moment for Zoe to have her husband back :)

Any other characters from the same cannon point and fandom would be more than welcome too! But I really want Zoe :D
