Same Ghost Every Night is up!
Plagued by nightmares, Katsuko just wants to get drunk and sleep, but blowing a hole in Konoha with uncontrolled chakra is not a good way to get cathartic. Ryouma might have sympathy, but Kakashi has seals, and Katsuko only wants a guard for one night.

As The World Burns is complete!
Katsuko drops in on Kakashi and Ryouma, despite the risk of dying via chidori-to-face, to present Ryouma with her own version of a welcome home present. And also to steal breakfast. She winds up with a whole lot more.

In A Light That Never Goes Out, Kakashi wakes up to find Ryouma gone again. The day gets stranger from there.
In a slight change of pace, Ki and I have done something stylistically different and written a thread entirely from one point of view. A Light That Never Goes Out is a three-part oneshot that follows a day in the life with Kakashi and Ryouma--which, predictably, is nothing like any other day.
Warning: the final part contains sexually explicit material and is R-rated.

In September Genma has an Eros mission. His usual handler Hajime is there, but Raidou's not the muscle this time; it's a jounin Genma only knows by reputation — that girl with the fucked up chakra who got experimented on in captivity. Katsuko knows Genma by reputation, too — the guy from Eros with the messed up hands who survived capture and torture more than once. In the aftermath of a flawlessly executed mission, they bond about the things that usually keep them just a little separate from everyone else.

Two months ago, I offered to write Dark a fic for his birthday present. He asked for the story of Ryouma's parents' first meeting, and I jumped at the opportunity to explore a story Ryouma doesn't know and I'd always wanted to discover.
As usual, the story didn't go anywhere near where I'd expected it to. That's part of the fun. Sequels may come, in time, but for now I hope you'll enjoy This Broken World We Choose, in which there are missions, make-outs (and more), and way too much angst for anyone's health. (On the other hand...these are Ryouma's parents. What did you expect?)

Six months ago, in early April, Tousaki Ryouma disappeared so thoroughly that ANBU's best trackers couldn't hunt him down. Now he's back, with new scars and new stories, and despite all the odds Kakashi's still around to greet him.

| Leaves is returning! |

To our dear and faithful readers,
Leaves is not dead! It has been at least seven months since our last thread was posted, but we are glad to announce that soon there will be much more to read.
Ryouma's writer, Ki, has returned to us, and without giving away too many spoilers, Ryouma's story is not over. And of course there will be other familiar faces returning.
The plan is to kick things off with a six-month timeskip following Off the Edge of the Map, which is the last thread posted in the Kakashi-and-Ginta-go-after-Ryouma arc. Though rest assured, that arc will be finished.
We want to thank all of you who have stuck with us this long, especially those who have left reviews in the guestbook. We have read and treasured each one (even if we have been exceptionally lax about responding).
Keep an eye out here, where announcements of threads will be put up as they’re posted, and as always feel free to leave us comments, questions, or otherwise in the forum, the guestbook, or this entry of the main page.

Gunmetal here, breaking the hiatus with some Halloween cheer!
The months after Kyuubi were long and hard. With so many of Konoha's elite dead or incapacitated, Katsuko's chuunin team was forced to pick up a patrol run on Lightning's borders that should have fallen to a squad of jounin. It wasn't long before Kumo ninja took advantage of Katsuko and her team's inexperience and launched an ambush. Now, with her sensei dead and her teammates missing, Katsuko is at the mercy of one of Cloud's most brilliant--and insane--scientists.
In a Place Like This is a look into Katsuko's past and the origins of her scars, as well as her decision to join ANBU. Warning: mentions of child abuse, torture, and overall dark themes ahead. |
