A/N: Late, late, and even more late.

“Zidane!” It was more a squeak than a whisper, barely worthy of a queen, and Garnet blushed.

A low chuckle deepened the color in her face. “We have plenty of time before the court comes in,” he breathed before gently licking the outside of her ear.

She gasped at the sensations and squirmed closer to him despite herself. “But someone might show up early,” she finally managed to whisper, completely ignoring the fact that she was nuzzling his neck.

His tail was softly wrapped around leg just above the knee, lifting the dress so that his hands could roam freely. When it brushed her hip, she gave up all pretenses at protesting and kissed him until they were both breathless.

Later, during a usually dry court function, one noble whispered to the other how wonderfully colored their queen was.
