We are getting close to having enough funds to setup with a new hosting provider. Right now we are about 65% of the way there. Keep up the donations and purchases from the InsaneJournal Store. Some of you have asked for a donation button, so I am providing one right here

Edit: We are getting closer. We are at about 90% of the goal for fundraising. Please note that once we reach our goal we are going to stop selling perm account and insaneuserpics, so hurry up and get them while you can!

    Silly question but ... I can't seem to find what the "coupons" are for. Is this just for services I might want in the future? Can I use them for anything (l can foresee myself wanting to give pressies to new friends and/or possibly renaming something down the line)? And is there an expiration date?

    Is there a way to view account purchase history?

    Last night I used this account to purchase a perm account for [info]hafren. I had issues with paypal on check out, and wasn't certain whether or not it went through. This morning, I have a $1 pre auth from paypal, but not the rest of the charge, and [info]hafren, is still a free user. And I just can't figure out if it's gone through or not. I definitely want to purchase the permanent account, but not really twice!

    I know LJ has a history, that gives you all the stuff you've purchased and when, so I was wondering if there was a similar page here?

    but is there a way to transfer paid time to another account? My current account is paid until October but I'd like a permanent one XD

    If I want to buy Insane User Pics but I already have the Perm Extra pics is it possible to transfer the Perm Extra Pics to another Permanent account when the Insane User Pics is purchased?

    IE(incase I just confused you). account1 is perm with extra pics, account2 is just perm, I want to buy account1 insane user pics so can i transfer the extra pics to account2?

    I've already made my community and journal perm accounts, and I bought the 5k userpics...not much else left to donate but, I'm rooting for fellow donaters! Let's do it!

    If we buy a perm account code, can we apply it to any old journal we want to WHENEVER we want to - ie: can I save it until I know which journal I'd want to use it on? Or do we have to use it while they're avail to purchase?

    I have a permanent account with insane userpics for my personal journal, so no more money from me there, so I started to work on paying for some of my popular RP journals.

    I have opened a support ticket (#2172), actually, as I paid for 6 months for this journal, and the payment has been processed by paypal to you, and yet I'm still waiting for this account to be upgraded to paid more than 36 hours later.

    Any idea why this hasn't converted over yet? Just wondering, as it's taking a while, and I don't want to pay for any more for my other journals when this one doesn't seem to want to work.

    our comm (beyond_dark) was turned into a paid account tonight. Still if we choose to see the standard comment pages (which we prefer) we still see the ads on the top and side - why? Shouldn't they be gone?

    Wow, that's *amazing*!

    I honestly think that by the time I got an auction of any kind set up, you'd have the funds already, so I think I'll probably scrap the idea for now.

    And maybe go decide which of my RP journals should have paid accounts... uh... assuming that regular paid accounts will help generate the money for the move, that is.

    squeaky, i keep getting an ad on ij that tries to run and install this mp3 thing on my computer. it takes a few seconds for the ad to pop up - i was happily reading some comments when it loaded fully and everything messed up - but my virus protection detector catches it and tells me it's a trojan. still, this thing pops up and refuses to close, so i have to ctrl alt del my way to safety. basically, it keeps happening. well, when i say KEEPS happening, it has happened twice but to stop it from happening i purchased paid time on all my currently used accounts so i wouldn't have to deal with it and changed my pop up blocking settings to high. i think it happened an hour or so ago when i tried to log in, a pop up was blocked and that has only happened the one time before - the time that i got the virus ad. is there anything you can do about that? i don't mind donating or purchasing paid time, but there's always the risk of getting another virus when logging in or logging out.

    If you close perm account sales before 5/1 you will miss sales to everyone who has to get paid before they can buy.

    Through the store, why can't you pay via paypal using bank information? I already have my bank account all linked up with paypal. I would like to purchase some rename tokens but I'm having to wait a few days for paypal to send me a confirmation code by charging my credit card. I have to wait to see when it shows up on my statement. I'm worried someone is gonna get the two journal names I want. :[

    I already have one permanent account token sitting in my email that I haven't decided what to do with yet, and the two accounts I use are already permanent. One of which I've already purchased the Insane Userpics for. I am so VERY tempted to get the Insane Userpics for the other account, but I have a trip to Europe coming up in a couple of weeks, and I need to save my money for that. I know you said you'll stop the sale of insane userpics once you hit your goal, but how much longer do you think that will be? And when will you open them up for sale again? I really would like to buy them for my second journal, but the timing just sucks.

    I wouldn't be surprised if this question has been answered before, but I thought I'd give it a go! I mostly use this site as a place to RP, as do many of my friends. A large number of people have expressed interest in incremental extra userpics (say 50 extra for $10 or something to that effect), but aren't interested in paying for all the added features of a paid account on all their RP journals. Would that be a possibility, or a pointless strain on the server that would end up costing you more in the long run?
