WHO: Lindsay and Charlie
WHAT: Visit a dragon
WHEN: Wednesday afternoon
WHERE: Scottish Dragon Reserve
RATING: PG to be safe/probably G
STATUS: Incomplete
Lindsay wasn't one to take easily to periods of forced inactivity. She understood that Lorcan only wanted to be a good boss and a good friend but she felt by the end of the first day of her vacation that she was about to lose her mind if she didn't do something soon. Unfortunately nothing was forthcoming for the first couple of days. By the third day she hadn't really been exaggerating when she'd threatened to reorganize things at the house she shared with Ella (though her best friend's skirts were actually off limits even to her). When Charlie had requested her help she jumped at the chance. Who wouldn't? Okay, what self respecting hyper-organized workaholic would refuse?
Yes, she'd been a little upset but Lorcan's crabbiness but finally she reminded herself that he was thinking about how things should be and he was trying to be a good person. And she thought perhaps he might feel her insisting on working even while on vacation was some kind of affront to him, which wasn't quite fair but was completely understandable.
She'd been looking forward to her outing with Charlie to visit a dragon since he'd brought it up because she wasn't sure of anyone who wouldn't jump at the chance to actually see a dragon. Especially with an experienced dragon handler such as Charlie. She had no illusions that Charlie meant this to be anything more than an outing between friends and that knowledge made her anticipate the experience even more. In her limited experience romance and dating just interfered with perfectly acceptable friendships. So it was with a light spirit and a sense of impending excitement that Lindsay met Charlie at the Leaky Wednesday morning.
