Who: Angel and Drusilla
What: Father/daughter reunion of sorts
When: Tonight
Where: Wilderness
Warnings: Who knows with these two.
Needless to say, the multiple talks he'd tried to have with Faith weren't going anywhere. She was stubborn and remained resolved to stay in the cabin until she decided otherwise. She needed to try to come to terms with the news regarding her father, but she also had a prison that needed her. Angel had a son that needed her. It wasn't fair to her to put everything on her plate, but those were the lives they usually led and he didn't see it getting any easier until they died or the world really did end. Even then, in either case, he wasn't convinced it would be over.
Leaving Faith and Stefan alone to clear his own head, Angel had a promise to make sure he lived up to by meeting with Drusilla. She'd been in Everett for a long time now and he hadn't seen her yet. He wondered why she made the decision to stick around when there were so many power players here, but maybe that was exactly why. Or maybe she missed her family and wanted a part of that back. Angel understood even if that was the darker side of him talking. He sometimes realized he missed the days of him, Spike, Dru, and Darla blasting their way through Europe and not looking back. Pushing those thoughts aside, he kept walking through the forest and neared the location where he thought she was calling home for now. He may not have visited her, but he certainly knew a round about location on her and a few of the others.
Dru was a piece of his past that he would never be able to outrun. She was his masterpiece once upon a time. Angelus' perfect deadly china doll wrapped in an unhinged packaged. They'd been through hell and back both when he was without a soul and with one and yet no matter how many times they screwed each other over, he still felt a responsibility towards her.
Reaching a clearing, Angel gazed up at the moon and knew she was near. He couldn't see her, but something in his blood seemed to hum. The same way it did when he was near any member of the Aurelian family. He wasn't hiding as he stepped out and waited for her to come to him. She always did.
