He sensed her before he saw her. Drusilla envoked every sort of emotion out of him he could think to feel. Guilt, pride, anger, sadness, happiness. As Angel, his relationship with her was complicated at best, but now with the zombies and Glory around.. he still felt responsible for her. Especially now that Darla was gone.
"Strange, yes, but not unwelcome," he said quietly. He missed having a heartbeat sometimes. He remembered Harmony saying the same thing once back at Wolfram and Hart. Not feeling that flutter when emotions ran high or that steadiness when all else was still. "Aurelian blood." Hers, his, Spike's, Connor's. They were all related through blood and could sense each other when they were close by. That itself was another comfort that he appreciated as a vampire.
He stepped towards her but kept a distance to wait and see what she was going to do. "Have the stars been speaking to you?" While he was curious if she'd seen anything about Glory that wasn't why he was asking. No matter if he had a soul or not, her gift intrigued him. The visions were the reason he'd driven her mad in the first place and wanted her for himself. As Angel, a selfish part of him still wanted it. Not that he was proud of that fact.
"There have been a lot of demons coming into town recently. I want you to tell me if theh try to give you any trouble, okay?" He would destroy them himself even if he knew Drusilla was a deadly force. She may have looked frail and fragile, but she was anything but fragile.
