Logan was the only one he was really worried about.
Who: Madrox OT any and all X-Men
What: Discussing the dreams
When: Sunday afternoon
Where: The Haven war room
Jamie had sent out the message and hopefully everyone got it. He suspected everyone had, most of the X-Men seemed pretty good about checking their voice and email, Logan was the only one he was really worried about. Of course, Logan was the one he thought was least likely to come to this little meeting. The decision to cancel a training session was not an easy one, Jamie was convinced more time needed to be spent getting everyone used to fighting along side everyone else, but his discussion with Storm had been a good one, and her words had ultimately resulted in this decision. Sometimes an answer of 'I don't know' was still better than a non-answer, and so Jamie had called everyone in to talk about this strange thing that had happened. He hoped this little team meeting went better than the last one.
Jamie was standing at the head of the table in the War Room, a few folders spread before him and a note pad open and ready for note taking. He doubted he would learn anything Xavier did not already know, but knowledge was power and one never quite knew if Chuck was withholding information for one reason or another. Cracking a quick smile, Jamie nodded to everyone who had arrived, tapping his pen nervously against the pad of paper as he began to talk.
"So, I'm sure some of you are glad to be here instead of looking at the business end of Logan's claws int he Danger Room once again. As I said in the announcement, I wanted to call the team together and have an open discussion about these dreams from a while back." He paused, watching for reactions before he started in again. "I'll be honest, I've let the Professor generally take a lead on all that. Mind powers and all that, he seems the more equipped of the two of us to build a full picture and make sense of it all. We've had discussions about it, and well, I think we can all agree that whatever this was, a prank or a vision of the future or just a nightmare someone decided to share with us, it all strikes a little too close for comfort."
"I saw myself die," he began, pausing before cracking another, rather forced smile. "Or at least one of me die. It's not something new, I've already seen a few of me die here in this time and reality, but it's still not something I'd like to see happen again. I saw some of you in my dream, and Xavier has said that people outside the X-Men, even outside of the Haven, had visions too. That's why I think this is something beyond a prank or a simple nightmare. It's too big for that, and I think we could learn something. Maybe. Hopefully."
Clearing his throat, Madrox tossed his pen down atop the pad of paper and opened his hands, scanning faces again. "I'm sure some of you have already talked amongst each other about this, but maybe as a group we can come to some kind of conclusion, or at least make ourselves feel better about it all. So, not to sound like we're back in elementary school, but... who wants to share?" No sense in him taking the floor and chattering all day and night like he was fully capable of. He wanted to hear what his team experienced and just what they thought about it all.
OOC: feel free to break into sub-thread discussions between characters. I'd love for this to not be a huge, slow, never-ending group thread. Jamie can hop into multiple sub-threads, if you want him specifically just leave his name in the subject line.
