LOG: venkman + stantz
Pete had picked at the container of drunken noodles he ordered but midway through, decided he'd save the rest for Egon. Chances were, he'd go right to Katie's apartment after they were done with the car, shower up and have dinner any way. That and he was sure the quiet scientist wouldn't eat unless an obnoxiously placed post-it note was left on his experiments.
The more time they spent in Night Vale, the more it felt kind of like home. A quieter but weirder, version. If that was even possible given they were from New York. As far as pocket dimensions went, this one really wasn't all that bad. They were still missing Winston, who was either enjoying the fuck out of the peace and quiet back home, or near having an aneurysm dealing with all the spooks and specters by himself with only Louis Tully as his backup. Pete found it more than a little humorous, honestly, seeing as how a proton pack practically weighed as much as Tully soaking wet.
With the firehouse's garage doors wide open, it was strange to think it was January in this place - though nearly everything here was strange. Especially the fact that over an hour had passed and neither of them had brought up anyone's significant other. Not Katie, not Miller, not Janine. He may as well bite the bullet and say something first before Ray got the chance to corner him about it. "So.. how's the honeymoon phase?" he questioned with a slight drawl, cigarette bouncing between his lips as he spoke.
Peter stood and gave a small stretch to signal he was ready to ease back into work, or at the very least pretend to while Ray did all the heavy lifting.
