I've never had time to keep a garden before. The job didn't really leave you much time for pruning and weeding and I've never been much of a  Martha Stewart type. But after the winter blanket of snow for the last few months, you want a reason to be out in the crisp sunshine and knee-deep in wet dirt.

I think I've bought every bulb they had to offer: Dahlias, tulips, anemones...no dainty flowers around here. (No smarmy comments, thank you.)

Public Service Announcement:

No matter how fast you go, and how many times you have watched this TV show Dukes of Hazzard,  a truck cannot jump the swamp pass. Especially one older than the driver with an engine that should be in a sedan.

Repeat offenders will not get any help dredging their trucks out the swamp anymore. We will just point and laugh.
