It's nearly here!
In a few short hours, posting for the 2008 edition of ![[info]](https://www.insanejournal.com/img/community.gif)
wizard_love will begin! We're really excited to share all the great art and fic we've gotten in and to give each and every one of our participants a lovely Valentine's gift! We will be posting twice a day for the next month (barring any problems).
A few quick reminders:
In order to receive a gift, you have to turn one in. We know that there's always a bit of contention about what's posted when in these sort of exchanges. In the case ofwizard_love, we will not post fic or art by anyone until their recipient has turned in his/her piece. Sorry, but we don't reward people who don't come through. We know it can be frustrating to have to wait to see your hard work posted, and we're sorry. We will be taking in account of what was turned in when (so if you turned something in early, we'll do our best to post it as soon as we can) but we also want to give everyone a good mix of pairings. A week's worth of only Snape/Hermione fics or only Harry/Ginny art wouldn't be much fun. Please do not email us to ask when your fic/art will be posted or your gift -- we're trying to be fair to everyone. If your gift was orphaned, we'll let you know -- the orphaned gifts will be posted at the end. We apologise in advance for that -- unfortunately, we've had several dropouts. However, anyone who turned in something will receive a gift in return. We've got some great pinch hitters behind the scenes!
If you've turned in your fic or art and haven't heard from us, we apologise. Real life has made things a little difficult for both of us so we're behind on book keeping. We'll try and send out emails in the next day or so to everyone who has turned in something. However, we've already emailed our outstanding participants so if you haven't heard from us in the past few days, that means we've gotten it! There have been a few technical glitches where people have sent things in and they have not arrived -- we blame Mercury Retrograde! Hopefully we'll get those problems resolved soon.
There should be two posts a day every day. There are no specific times as yet due to personal schedules. Webeg ask that everyone try to comment on as many pieces as they can. Because feedback is love. We know everyone has worked really hard on their submissions and they deserve praise!
