Roger hadn't been expecting Angelina to so readily agree to a drinking session with him. He had been making a flippant comment, to keep things from getting serious and to pull her into another silly argument, but then she had gone and surprised him by inviting him over. And as Angelina's appeal was steadily climbing higher in his eyes over the last few months, he had agreed to it.

What wasn't there to like about Angelina? She was beautiful, athletic, and smart. The Gryffindor thing could be forgiven, of course, but he'd never say that to her face.

Roger wasn't an idiot, despite the roles he sometimes played.

Apparating outside of the property line, he checked to make sure there was no one else around before he started to whistle and make his way to the door. Once there, he knocked a few times and leaned against the frame, looking for all the world like he belonged there.

"I could be more than a brilliant distraction, if you let me," he said, sounding too serious to his own ears. Coughing, he broke the moment by rakishly grinning and offering a slight shoulder shrug. "The birds say that I'm bloody fantastic shag."

Over-exaggerating a sigh, he added, "I suppose you wouldn't know that, seeing as you have something against having a good time with me." Which was also an over-exaggeration seeing as he and Angelina had a lot of fun together. It was just that their definition of fun was vastly different from other people's definitions. It involved quips, mild put downs, and tension. It was what Roger was comfortable with, when it came to Angelina.
