WHO: Greg Goyle and Evie Bagnold
WHAT: Its like we made up our own version of a random scene lottery. IOW - who knows?
WHERE: The school corridors, near the kitchens
WHEN: After class, before dinner, Tuesday
RATING: PG-13 for Greg's potty mouth, just to be safe
It wasn't that he didn't believe his dad when he said house elves were pathetic and dumb creatures, it's just that he got hungry sometimes. And those little buggers were in and out of the kitchens all day, and they didn't care if he was supposed to be there or not. They always brought him out a bit of food when he wanted it.
Anyway, Greg was a growing boy and all, like his mum used to say. And not big like Vince, who was getting real round and heavy and sweaty and all lately. Greg was just big. He was taller than most of the other blokes around, and he was supposed to be strong, dad said, so he spent a few hours most days flying out on the pitch, or carrying his trunk around to make his arms strong, or whatever he thought up.
So he was big, and he was hungry a lot. And anyway, talking to the house elves so they'd bring him food wasn't against the rules, really. He didn't think. But his dad hated house elves, and he knew Draco's family liked kicking them around, and he was just worried enough about maybe doing something wrong that he was extra careful not to go round the kitchens when there were other kids around.
He was extra careful approaching the back halls leading to the kitchens. For some reason he already felt like he was doing things he shouldn't be doing - talking to people on his book and wanting to go to a party and all that.
He tried to walk quietly as he could up the hallway, hoping there wouldn't be anyone else around to spot him.
