WHO: Gregory Goyle and Theo Nott
WHAT: Another visit from Greg
WHERE: St Mungo's
WHEN: Monday
WARNINGS/RATING/STATUS: Unbalanced Theo/R/Incomplete

Theo had woken without Greg and he'd really thought it had just been a dream. The memory stuck but the details slipped from his mind like sand through a hole in the ground. The salve had lost its potency but the burning sting had dulled to an almost forgettable throb, and he walked with only a faint limp from the way his muscles hadn't been used to the way he'd used them yesterday.

He was crouched low on the floor, scrawling pictures that, if he had his wand, would cause fires. He was a little preoccupied with burning, not that he was aware of it. He lapsed from shapes and lines to words, Latin words for protection and silence. He was a little obsessed with that too - these spells had never worked for him, no matter how exact they were.

The door opened and he didn't bother looking up because he knew those steps. He let the orderlies take hold of him, lift him up and carry him bodily away; he was so light that one could have carried him, but they always sent to, and a doctor to watch. He knew where he was going. He hadn't been eating and they were going to make sure he wasn't going to waste away. He didn't bother to struggle, because it never helped; just hung from their arms while his mind went somehere else completely and utterly away.

Greg accepted the lie as truth, not knowing any better. He settled back, cuddling against Theo as he felt himself relax more, that looming sexual tension resolved. He was laying down now, and he kissed Theo again, and wished there was something he could do for Theo, to help him or give him the same physical pleasure Theo had just helped him achieve.

His pants were a mess, but Greg ignored it all, wrapping himself around Theo again, ready to take a bit of nap with him, if he let him.

Theo was tense, unsure about what was going to happen now and for once back in the room in this time, only knowing Greg as his one and only visitor (Draco's visits not frequent enough for him to remember them right then) and not the boy he once knew at school.

He barely felt the kiss and let Greg wrap him up again, lying against the other boy still feeling vaguely sick and fully awake.

Greg was drowsy as he lay next to Theo, and he found his hand stroking what he could touch of Theo, "Roll over so I can get to your back, love," he directed, ready to pet his boy until either he or they both fell asleep. He was too relaxed to notice how alert and tense Theo was next to him, under him. Greg wanted only to sleep with Theo, and let his mind cast them back to school days and school love if he could.

"I love you, Theo," he said, his eyes half closed as he waited for Theo to move.

Theo moved a little as he was bid, not quite sure about what was happening but quietly obedient for the time being, as he'd been taught to be as a little boy.

He didn't answer Greg's sleepy sentiment with the same though, because he knew what time it as coming up to... "Shower." he said, unhelpfully, just before the door opened and the orderlies let themselves in.

Greg opened his eyes fast, and with a bit of a guilty gesture, he raised himself from his lounging position to an upright one, "Shower. Yeah, of course," he said as he looked at the orderlies hard, a thought passing through his mind.

"You want I should help?" he offered, to the orderlies and to Theo. He was going to need to understand how Theo acted during all of this daily routines, especially if he was going to take them over, "I mean, do you need help?" and he looked at the guys, "Don't you just sort of get him there, and let him do it on his own," and he turned back to Theo, "You like showers, don't you?"

His face was concerned, and he hoped Theo would say yes.

The orderlies came in as Greg was sitting up, and the look they gave him suggested that they didn't quite approve of the way their patient and his visitor had been 'sitting'. They were a little assauged by Greg's offer of help, but almost further concerned at the same time.

"I'm sorry Sir, it's our policy not to allow anyone other than trained staff to attend to the needs of the patients in the Janus Thickey ward."

"And this patient isn't considered to have the capacity to give informed consent." the other chimed in. "So I'm afraid we can't allow you to be present, unless you're a direct relative."

"But please be assured, no harm will come to him." the other concluded. Theo was already up and undressing, pulling his shirt over his head and dropping his trousers to the floor, waiting to take the robe that would be offered to him for the trip to the showers. He looked ill just standig there naked, his bones jutting out sharply in places where small dips should be and bones showing where they should have been well covered. He tilted his head at Gregm apparently missing the question. "It's cold outside." he commented.

Greg's expression grew hard at the orderlies' statements, "For your information," he started and then he stopped. He was not going to let his anger get the best of him; it might get him barred from visiting.

"Yeah, well, that's going to change soon enough I expect," he muttered to himself, not caring what they thought. Greg glanced at them before turning his attention to Theo. The gaunt nature of his state frightened Greg but he knew that his friend had to be force fed and it made him feel terrible in that moment. At Theo's complete disrobing, Greg scowled, "The least thing you can do is give him a robe before he gets there, bloody hell! I'm gonna have a word if you two don't fix it," he said, his tone slightly threatening; he was appalled at the notion that Theo would have to walk naked to the showers, in front of Merlin knew who.

His eyes found Theo's again, "Its summer, Theo, not so cold. Its a great time for swimming. A shower will do you good," he said, as he glanced about and moved to fetch the robe he saw, hanging from a hook. With care, Greg put it round Theo's shoulders, "This should help a bit until you get there, mate," he added, and threw a threatening look at the orderlies.

The orderlies politely ignored Greg's outburst - they'd seen their fair share of angry relatives, although never for this particular patient - and then allowed Greg to robe the boy before they told him, "We were going to ask him to put on the robe. It's not our policy to allow patients to wander around naked either." They said in turn primly.

Theo drew the robe about his narrow shoulders, looking a little like he'd just woken from a deep sleep and didn't quite know what was happening. "Oh?" he said, confused. "Summer swimming?" he shivered. "But I feel cold, so cold cold cold, so cold, so cold..." he murmured, on and on. The orderlies, used to this kind of behaviour, approached him to start moving him out to the showers, trying to usher Greg out of their way without actually doing so.

Greg knew they were trying to get him out of the way, but he staunchly put back his shoulders, planting himself for the moment in front of Theo. It was Theo who was his top priority, his biggest worry.

"It's summer, love," he said, as he held fix the collar on the robe, smoothing his hands down Theo's chest, to stop at his waist and draw the robe tie, "Take a nice hot shower. Let that cold was right down the drain," and after a brief pause, a sad expression flickered across Greg's face.

"I'll see you tomorrow, Theo. I promise."

And with that, he stepped back and nodded to the orderlies who moved forward. Greg watched, and then followed behind as the three moved ahead of him. With a heavy heart, he knew he was going to swing by and see his mum first before hitting a broom and flying for hours, to clear his mind, all the while missing Theo.
