Greg knew they were trying to get him out of the way, but he staunchly put back his shoulders, planting himself for the moment in front of Theo. It was Theo who was his top priority, his biggest worry.
"It's summer, love," he said, as he held fix the collar on the robe, smoothing his hands down Theo's chest, to stop at his waist and draw the robe tie, "Take a nice hot shower. Let that cold was right down the drain," and after a brief pause, a sad expression flickered across Greg's face.
"I'll see you tomorrow, Theo. I promise."
And with that, he stepped back and nodded to the orderlies who moved forward. Greg watched, and then followed behind as the three moved ahead of him. With a heavy heart, he knew he was going to swing by and see his mum first before hitting a broom and flying for hours, to clear his mind, all the while missing Theo.
