Open (D'athe) - finished
"That doesn't look right." The Doctor frowned at the sensors and then at the monitor.
Jack joined him, leaning on the console and frowning too. "Definitely doesn't look right."
The Doctor rubbed a hand over his face, ending with his chin, before looking up at Jack. "I've been here before. This is not good."
Jack raised his eyebrows. "How not good?"
"If I'm right, we're stuck in a place that doesn't exist along with multiple versions of ourselves and various old friends and can't get out until it randomly decides to fling us out."
Jack leered. "Multiple versions of us? Sounds like fun!"
The Doctor rolled his eyes. "You would say that." He sighed, and squared his shoulders. "Come on, then. Let's see what's out there."
He crossed to the TARDIS door, opened it cautiously, and peered out – into a very familiar-looking library. "Damn. I was right."
Jack came up and gazed out past him. "So are we going out there?"
"I don't know. Last time I did that I lost the TARDIS."
Jack laughed. "Come on, Doctor! Nothing ventured, nothing gained. Anyway, it looks safe enough." He gave the Doctor a little shove, making him stumble out of the TARDIS into the library.
The Doctor immediately turned to check the TARDIS hadn't disappeared the way it had last time. It hadn't. Jack was still there in the doorway grinning at him. The Doctor slowly grinned back. Ah well. At least this time he had his own Jack.
