[Message written in Russian on back of tattered flier]
Mikhail has been on the phone often talking to other Russians within the city. At least I think it is within the city. He's set up a meeting to talk to them face to face. I will keep you posted. |

Who: Augustus Pye and Samrat Amarnath What: Two old associates run into one another. Where: London, England When: Monday, May 22 (backdated) - date may change Rating: PG
Samrat did not like the idea of returning to the scene of the crime. Particularly not when that scene was one that had been chosen by a wizard that he knew of as a distinctive threat. He'd grilled Irshad on why they had selected the spot for their dump but the other man had no real answers. It wasn't what he wanted.
Then again, Sam reflected bitterly as he stared up overhead. It was why he had agreed to do this thing - so that it would be done properly.
His eyes examined the streets, looking for anything that could have been debris from the woman's death. How he would recognize it, he wasn't certain.
( As soon as fear enters the equation, it's easy to manipulate a person into doing something. It just requires finding the right motivation. ) |

Who: Hermione Granger and Heather Jones What: Questioning time Where: London When: Monday, June 2 Rating: PG+ for language, threats
"Mrs. Weasley," Heather said as she strode towards Hermione, five-foot-two of pure purpose as her eyes latched onto the taller woman. She used her former name to distract her, knowing full well that the woman had been widowed for months. Digging into her pocket, she flipped her badge open and let it hang. "Agent Jones. I'd like to ask you some questions."
It was hard, very hard, to look at the woman as if she was human. She shoved the badge back in her pocket, keeping her gaze focused. Any animal would run if given the opportunity - wizards were no different. |

Who: Neville Longbottom What: Neville's first real expression of anger. Where: Sowerby, England When: winter, 1990 Rating: R - violence against animals
She never wanted him in the house any longer.
Neville stood on the peak, his small, sturdy body shaking as he stared out across the fells. The green of it was comforting because it was familiar, the ground something that nothing- not time, not death- could truly take from him, he thought. He could feel the springy touch of the moss through the hole in his boot as he shouldered his rucksack and began the climb.
( He couldn't be people he wasn't. ) |

I conversed with your Mr Harry Potter the other day. Based on that conversation, I am not entirely convinced that he has your best interests at heart. I should have an eye on him if I were you.
I presume you are aware he was a professional memory-manipulator?

Who: Andrew Kirke & Neville Longbottom What: Non-birthday celebrations and Neville's shite memory Where: Nev's flat, London and possibly elsewheres When: Saturday night, 30th May, 2009 Rating: R (for language, because it's Andrew and the f-word is his favourite word ever) Status: Closed; Incomplete
He wasn't really one for apparating, honestly. Andrew never did it unless it was necessary and right now he just didn't like the idea of Neville not even knowing where the fuck he was. The two hour drive south to London was more time than he'd like to let pass all things considered. As such, Andrew apparated somewhere vaguely safe, borrowed a friend's motorbike who lived in London with the claim he'd been in town with a mate who'd gotten bladdered and ditched him with some slag. He promised it'd be back by morning and off Andrew went on the Harley.
It was nearly thirty minutes after his last reply in his journal to Neville when he rang the bell to the man's flat. When silence descended after the bell he called out, "Oi! Nev! It's Andy!" Whatever, it was London, the neighbours could bloody, fucking deal with the noise. |
