I love all the snow. It's just so pretty and it reminds me of home. It actually feels like Christmas, which is quite nice.

I wanted to apologise if I was a bit overwhelming when you first arrived. From a biochemical standpoint, you are quite obviously a fascinating specimen, but I don't want you to think that I only think of you in those terms. I don't. Obviously. I mean, you're a person too. I really miss my mum and dad. Is that stupid? I mean...It's just that it's the holidays and it makes me wish I could see them, or even just talk to them.

Oh my goodness. Captain Rogers just asked me to go to the ball with him. I mean...it's just as friends obviously, but ~~he's just so very tall and fit and~~ still. I've never been asked to a dance before. I hardly knew what to say.

I've always liked snow, myself. When I was a kid my mom never let me out in it, she was too worried I'd get hypothermia, but I liked to watch it fall through the window.

...you know, I've never made a snowman.

I'm glad. I would have hated to make you uncomfortable. And not just because Agent Coulson thinks very highly of you and would be quite cross. But you're just very kind and it's nice. And you certainly succeed at being fascinating.

Well, there was also that time I was stuck in ice for seventy years. I've had a lot of time to get very well acquainted with snow, I just wasn't awake for most of it.

I would like that. I've never had a snowball fight either, if you know anyone who could help with that.

I promise, no uncomfortableness here, you are safe from Coulson's wrath. It takes a lot more than a friendly lady remarking upon my cellular structure to make me uncomfortable.

There's quite a bit of science to a good snowball fight. I could probably get the team to help tough. It's more fun with more people.

I'm doing alright, I think. What's another major life change after everything else I've been through in the last couple months? The only thing I think I need is better friends, Tony's... well, he's Tony. And I can only take that level of Tony for so long.

You're certainly handling it well. Much better than most people would.

Mr. Stark is certainly something. Fitz and I aren't allowed to talk to him or Dr. Banner more than strictly necessary. Agent Coulson is worried about explosions.

In any case, you have other friends. Agents Barton and Romanoff are wonderful. And Thor seems quite ~~fit~~ nice. And there's Agent Coulson, of course, and the Director and Deputy Director Hill.

And you can absolutely think of me as a friend, if you like.

I will. I was getting up to speed with all the technological advancements made before I was brought here, but I haven't mastered everything yet. I might actually need to take you up on that.

Is there such a thing as too much science? I don't think there is.

Were you going to go to that ball I've been hearing about? I wasn't planning on it, but I think Tony might kill me in my sleep if I don't. If you are going, and you don't have a date, maybe we could go together? As friends, of course. Fair warning, I've never danced before, I might be terrible.
