[info]i_blog in [info]we_babble

Alright, here goes! Hello, everyone. I'm Beth, and I think I know a lot of you from other games. I was also around for the last run of We_Co, albeit with a completely different roster of characters. (I had Gertrude Yorkes and Schmendrick the Magician, among others.)

This time around, I have three. The first is John Watson, this journal. John is the Dr. Watson of 'Sherlock and Watson' fame, but he's from the newest BBC series and is most decidedly not Victorian. Or old, or stupid, no matter what certain film adaptations would have you believe. I'm totally fine with having him recognized as a fictional character, even if he would object to the words 'fictional' and, worse, 'sidekick.'

Then there's Wanda Maximoff at [info]i_rage. She's from X-Men Evolution, a children's cartoon from the early 2000s, and not exactly like her Marvel Comics / Avengers self. Well, mostly unlike the Avengers version. She is still crazy. The journal name says it all - she's angry over a bunch of things, some totally valid and some that she'd be better off just letting go. She's vengeful and single-minded and volatile, but I figured my roster needed a villain and she fit the bill.

Finally, I have Senator Padmé Naberrie Amidala Skywalker at [info]i_govern, who has far more names than any one person needs. She's an opinionated, determined young woman who will probably spend her time trying to play peacemaker, meddling in local politics, and looking for ways to send a signal home. Likely in that order.

Anyway, hello to everyone! Rambling over. I'll put up some plot stuff in [info]we_connect after the holiday activity dies down and I can get back online more regularly.

O HELLO THERE.

This is BB. It's 2:45 in the morning Christmas Day and I am at work. So I thought I'd ramble at you about who I'm playing.

First, and the oldest of my characters, is Buffy. She came to The City after the finale of season five and has been in The City since nearly the beginning. Which means she's lived in The City five years now and is currently twenty six years old. She's been aimless and slaying sort of on auto-pilot. She's someone who needs friends or maybe a memorable date or SOMETHING to ground her in the present. (Sort of think season six Buffy without the trauma but with a similar existentialist dilemma.)

The second oldest character of mine is Georgia Lass at [info]i_avoidlife. She's undead and a grim reaper. Back in the old days of We Co her best friend was Dexter, a serial killer. He wasn't all that bad, swear. She'd also gotten a job as a blood doll to a very demanding vampire. Neither of those characters are present in this current incarnation of We Co, so she'll need some new pals. Like Buffy she is wide open for story line ideas.

The third oldest character I'm bringing back is Death of the Endless at [info]i_happen. Technically she was always present in The City but game play wise tends to show up and is there for a good chat. She's a sweet heart. Doesn't judge too much. And knows your name and remembers when you first met. Also open for plot though I have a few ideas.

A new character I'm bringing into The City is The Trickster at [info]i_trickedyou. No, he's not actually a minor trickster deity. No, he's not going to tell you who he really is. It's not something he likes to discuss. Family is a sensitive issue to him. He is an asshole and will fuck with you if he deems your a jerk. (Just writing a unfair review in the paper or rough frat house hazing gets you put on his deadly naughty list. So there is a ton of potential for plot if you'd like to come up with a fun punishment for your character to survive.) He has a thing for feisty, independent chicks and was in a relationship with an aspect of Kali, the Hindu goddess of destruction and creation. Also he likes sweets.

Hit me up for plotage!

Y Hullo Thar

Well Hello everyone.

I'm Dawn and you might remember me from when I played here before. I only really quit because real life was taking a turn for the far too busy and well, some of those opportunities have fallen through. And with current injuries and things, may not come to pass in the future at all. I'm remaining optimistic, though.

For the most part, I'm brining back those I've played here before, less a couple.

First is my oldest character I've played her. [info]i_haveahoard is Mad Sweeney from Neil Gaiman's "American Gods". Neil based him roughly off the Irish legend off the Mad Sweeney or Buile Suibhne Geilt. He's a nearly 7 foot tall leprechaun but hates the stereotype of leprechauns in the United States. He's fairly friendly, likes to drink and smoke a lot and likes to fight even more. Physical fighting... for the pure fucken joy of it.

He was friends with Wednesday (Odin) in the book and Shadow, the main character. He comes to the City after 'dying' in Cairo, Illinois by freezing to death on a street with a bottle of Jameson in his hand. He could use some friends, those that aren't afraid of a little magic. Last time he had a rivalry or love/hate relationship with Jeannie.

Next is [info]i_sauntereddown, who is Crowley from the book "Good Omens." He's a demon and not generally very friendly. He was the snake in the Garden of Eden, and while his original name is actually a wiggly sigl that is unpronounceable to humans, he went by Crawly for a time before settling on Anthony J Crowley. His best friend was an angel named Aziraphale and he does seem to have a strong affection for human-kind. Don't tell him that, though. Just keep in mind he's a demon and everything will be just fine. :)

Crowley comes to the City shortly after a long sleep following his part in ending Armageddon. He could use people to tempt into acts of evil. So if you have anyone who wants to be a touch naughty or evil, let him meet up with Crowley.

Lastly, for right now, is [info]i_transcend, who is Jareth from the movie, Labyrinth. I never got much of a chance to play him last time, so I'm giving him another chance. There's been some minor tweaking on his history to give me something more to work with, and anything that exists in that manga sequel they made I've thrown out the window. Jareth is... well... he's an enigma. If you've not seen the movie, and OMG go see it now if you haven't, he's arrogant. He's also King of the Goblins, so he's used to getting his own way.

He is lonely, though. So beware... All You Pretty Things... he may try to find someone to be subservient to him.

I used to play Jack McFarland from Will and Grace, and Betty Rohmer from Dead Like Me as well, but right now I'm not sure on bringing them back. We'll start here and see what I have time for.

Anyone want to plot?
