	We have these things called wish baubles that show up around Christmas. Some people wish for unlimited funds, and they use that to buy the things they give back to the town. Others have money where they're from and they wish for it to come here. I think I'm one of the few who earned their wealth here, so my money isn't associated with a wish. For me personally it's giving back to the displaced because I was helped when I got here. I had nothing on me when I got here other than my phaser and Starfleet uniform. People who were displaced or locals who know about us gave me a job and a place to stay without asking questions. They did it because they didn't want to see me struggle on the street. So now that I can give back I do as repayment of what was done for me. Most other people who help do it for similar reasons.
