You do not think we all feel the same? You do not think I am reminded of Jóls with my family, with Björn and my beautiful little Gyda, even of Ragnar and the way we used to stay up late and lay out presents for our children to see the look of joy on their faces when they woke?

Jól is a time to remember, yes, but not to be sad. It is a time to place those memories in a compartment close to your heart, ready to carry them forward with you into the new light.
