As some of you are already aware, John Garrett, former S.H.I.E.L.D. agent and self-identified H.Y.D.R.A. agent, has arrived in Lawrence. He can see this post.

He has not, at this time, given any indication that he has broken the truce nor displayed current intentions to do so. He has been informed of the situation in Lawrence and has been provided an amulet to guard against possession.

Further information regarding him may be found online, or you may speak to him yourself if you so choose; or not, if you wish. I am only attempting to keep you all informed of current events. In the loop, so to speak.

I know where he worked. And I know who he trained under.

There was this story I heard once in church. After Moses led the Israelites out of Egypt. Cause they didn't believe something or other that God told them to, He cursed them with forty years of wandering in the wilderness before they could get where they were going. Until the generation who'd strayed had died off.

Maybe that's what they ought to do here. You can't ask men who've only ever known a crooked system to make a straight one. You've got to start over. New people. New world. There's nothing here worth saving.

	He doesn't, but I do. The man who is trying to build it is someone I admire and respect a great deal -- but do I think he's doing the right thing now?
