The reservations for my birthday supper are set for 6:30 at [business name] on Wednesday. I got a table for six just in case either of you would like to bring someone, but if you don't that's okay. 	I don't think I will but I wouldn't mind company. I've missed talking to you on the way home from class this last week. I would like that a lot, actually. 	I just wish my friends from home would come here. I'm happy Mary and John are here, but I miss Greg and Sherlock. Is it normal to have so many people at a time so frequently? 	Hopefully. Though if Sherlock showed up again I imagine it could be very problematic for a few reasons. ~~I can just see Sherlock's reaction to the fact I fancy Khan, and I don't think it would make me all that happy with him.~~ I think that's what I dislike about it most of all. Yeah. After the whole thing with Khan... I don't know. John's been through a lot. I mean, I liked Sherlock, he was good people, but I don't want to see anyone hurt and if he came here it might be rough for some people and it would make it rough for him too because of that. ...the Seal's just a dick, really.

People used to say it brought everyone here for a reason. But I'm not sure how many people still believe that. ~~It shouldn't be bringing us here still at all, really. It was supposed to cl~~

As much as I'm upset I got so little time with Sherlock when he came back where we're from and as much as I miss him it would probably be best if he wasn't here. I know some of what happened when Khan arrived and while I imagine it would be different if it was actually Sherlock I don't want John to be in pain again. I know it was hard enough for him when I got here. Of course, if anyone else from home showed up it probably would be Sherlock, just because the Seal is an arse.

I imagine that most people don't believe it, all things considered.

...I don't like saying it like that. It seems cruel, like that. Him not being here isn't best, it's just easy. I mean, he's our friend. Your friend, John's friend. I didn't know that him very long, but we got along okay, and the other Sherlock, he's one of my best friends and I know they're different people, but still. Point is, reunions shouldn't be painful. And it's not Sherlock's fault, not all of it. I mean, the whole, faking it, thing, that he did there, yeah okay, totally his fault. But here... he didn't fake it here. He saved a lot of lives here, and he died doing it. He deserves better from his friends than being written off like that, "best if he's not here", or whatever. Yeah it'd be rough, but still. He'd be here.

I know. I feel horrible I feel that way. And I think part of it is I still don't know exactly what happened when he was here last time. Part of me thinks I should find out, just so I know, but another part of me is terrified to. All I know is I miss Sherlock and I would love to have him here but it would be hard, too, and I don't want it to be hard. Not just because of what happened here but also because of what happened at home before I arrived here.
