How do you make someone feel better when they've been really, really hurt?

I feel like I'm new at this and I shouldn't be, really, but it's not like I have a whole lot of experience with things like this. ~~Or people in general. Even if it is my own sister~~

I don't even know what she dealt with, let alone how to help her with it.

	Nope, so it kinda comes down to what you want out of life. Are you going to let it drag you down or will you fight back against all the crazy and let yourself live? We all need time to process the crap that's thrown at us but if you don't let yourself experience the happy parts and just drown in the bad ones then the crappy parts win. 	This is going to suck, but sometimes you can't. You can try and be there for them, let them talk if they need to, but sometimes you just have to give them some time and space to get over it. Is she okay? I don't even really know what happened, just that she was in need of ice cream therapy the other night so I came over and stuff. I mean, you don't have to, like, tell me the problem, I get that's her business to tell and everything. Just... is she okay?
