It sucked, basically. I hated every second of it. Practically begged Elijah to turn me again. I'm just glad it took, since apparently that didn't work so well back home. His type is definitely worse off, I'll admit. It's an entire race of Rippers, basically.

It's why I don't really blame him for wanting to be human. I wouldn't want it that way either. He hated my choice, said I was throwing away a gift. But he respects that I did what was right for me, even if he doesn't agree with it. People have jumped down his throat so much lately and it's kind of ridiculous. It's possible to be friends with someone even when you don't agree with them. Not that any of them seem to grasp that.

If you aren't "in" with certain people around here, it can take all of about 2 seconds for the majority of the displaced to decide they hate you/want to shun you. It's kinda ridiculous. They all preach second chances, but they're far more selective about who those actually go to than they'll admit.
