Has anyone hunted any "monsters", of late?

I am running out of samples. I suppose I may simply have to go find some, myself.

It just seems too open for abuse.

[Kol]

Enough people get offended by the fact we're unkillable. How long before they try to get people like Holmes here to find a way around that, "just in case"?

Yeah, it does.

[Bekah]
Only a matter of time, I'm sure. Especially now that's it's practically being brought to the entire city's attention.

Even if they try to tell us that they won't use it "unless they have to", how can we trust any of it?

We can't.

No matter how much we want to, it's impossible to trust it.

I know he's Sherlock Holmes, and he is awesome and I don't doubt that his intentions are purely curiosity, but stuff like this, it has a way of gaining momentum.

It's not him I doubt. And perhaps his notes are coded well enough. But then, what if they aren't? It's still a risk. One I'm wary about.

What scares me the most? Mikael showing up here. So, he doesn't have the White Oak Stake, but he finds out that there are people like Sherlock here, there's nothing he won't do to get everything he knows on ways to hurt us. And I don't think Sherlock, cool though he is, would be willing to die to protect us.

I don't even want to entertain the idea. So few actually would even bother trying to protect us. Even those we call friend, I think.

There's also what Damon's telling me. About this guy back in Mystic Falls. Made a virus that made vampires want to feed on other vampires. And who knows if it would even work on an Original, but imagine any one of us with that in our systems.

Anyone trying to protect us would be signing their death warrant. I don't think I'd even want them to try. But it would be nice if they made some suggestion that they'd be willing to.

Fuck, really?

Yeah, basically this.

Yeah, apparently. Damon said before he was pulled here, he was on his way to kill the guy, but...who knows how it turns out.
