No evil
So I may have seen a glowing thingie around, and I may have told someone in conversation I wished I could run my own business and not run it into the ground, and all of a sudden my head was filled with enough knowledge to successfully start a million different businesses and ensure they're around for a long time. Can someone explain to me what the hell just happened? Because while this is really strange this is actually really cool, too.

It sounds like magic

That's what I was thinking. I mean, I wished for it and it happened, so magic seems to be the best explanation.

But was it good magic or bad magic?

I hope it's good magic. I mean, I'm really hoping if this is a wishing thing and it affects everyone people can't make bad wishes with it. But overall I think it's a good thing. I think people just have to be really careful what they wish for. I'm glad for the wish I got, but if I'd been prepared I might have wished for something else.

I've only ever read and heard whispers about good magic but I hope that it is. If it isn't people might get hurt.

I have to believe there's good magic out there, because if it was all bad magic then there wouldn't be anything to make people happy, and everyone needs that.

Bae says that good magic exists and I believe him. But I don't believe that magic should be use to make you happy.

Well, it shouldn't be abused to make you happy, I think. Certain people like things that are bad for other people, and no one should use magic for that. But getting a wish granted should be something that makes you happy.

There is good magic Regina. I've seen and met the fairies.

You've really met the fairies?!

I'm voting magic for now, maybe the seal is cutting us a break?

But no sign of glowing things yet, but I am tempted to see if I can get my rigs, fake ID's and the like back.

That's what I'm thinking. It's sort of a "Sorry for wreaking so much havoc in your lives, have a free wish!" type thing I'm totally okay with this, too.

That's a practical and very good wish. If I'd actually known I was going to get that wish I might have phrased it differently, but now I can put at least some of this money I've got into something practical that will keep me living comfortably while I'm here.

Especially after the last few months right?

Maybe the fact I'm wanting my gear back is a sign too? I know it may be a little longer before I can even consider taking a job but its a start on the road back?

Exactly. You guys really needed something good to happen around here, I think. Not that I didn't as well, but you guys needed it more.

I think it is. I think that you wanting to be a part of the world again, even if it isn't right away, is a really good sign.

No kidding right?

That's the odd part: thief me is itching to get back into action while scared little voice is sure something will go wrong. But as you told me the other night its baby steps and simply leaving the manor is the first of many.

Exactly. It won't be an easy process, but if you do a little bit every day it will help. And going to the party was a big step in the right direction.

How do you feel about motorcycles? If you want, I can pick you up in a bit and we can go take a drive somewhere.

So this is something that's happened before, I take it. Are the wishes permanent? Like, am I going to start a business and then lose all this information the wish gave me?

They've shown up around Christmas the past couple years, this last Christmas excluded. For the most part, they seem to be permanent. There was one incident where everything magic got canceled out somehow, including wishes, but I believe that was Lucifer's doing and it didn't last long.

So, we should all be careful what we wish for with them around. Makes sense to me.

Well, I get the feeling my wish got granted because I was looking at the thing when I made the wish and it assumed I was telling it to it. But apparently the wishes are permanent, so we should just be alert.

Usually you kind of have to tell it your wish.

Otherwise accidental wishes could get super ridic.

...hillarious. But ridic

Oh, I can bet they'd be hilarious. I was looking at it when I made the wish, so maybe that's why it came true? I mean, are these things sentient? Can they tell when we're actually wanting the wish? Because I'm actually totally happy with my wish, but it was a bit of a surprise.
