So am I the only one entirely suspicious that one day  pretty damn soon we'll wake up to the red flag flying over Moscow again?

Seriously, this isn't me being...well, me.

Tell me no one else is considering this as a potential

Let me guess. It's the figure skaters?

More like it's the country as a whole. It's a bit too familiar. The States didn't boycott this time but...perhaps it should have.

That's a bit extreme isn't it?

Not really.

Though at least having the media there is exposing what everyone has swept under the rug for years.

When you've lived through as many changes in Russia as we have, when it's impacted you as personally as it has us, you notice things.

I personally don't think it's going communist tomorrow or anything. But their economy is troubling, Putin's lack of concern for his people is heartbreaking, and the fact that they knew they were to be on the world stage and still left parts of the city in ruins? Well. It doesn't speak highly to their politics.

The lack of concern for people? With you on that. And the politics too though that isn't really my area.

That doesn't mean communism is making a threatening comeback.

But you seem to be para know what you're talking about.

No, it doesn't. But it also isn't impossible.

Well, I did play a part in the Cold War, I do have some idea what happened.

And a reason to be a bit over zealous about it?

My father is considered a missing person, I haven't seen my home country since I was five, and I nearly lost everything because Communists decided I'd make an excellent political pawn.

If I'm a bit overzealous, my apologies.

I wasn't trying to criticise, Florence.

This place really throws a mixed bag together doesn't it.

Sorry. That was a bit defensive, I suppose.

Oh, it does. I once thought my life was relatively exciting, until I got here. Now I'm one of the more mundane sorts.

It's no issue.

I've always thought mine was pretty normal. Then again it's all I really know.

Possibly.

Or not. We won't know unless things up and change again. Till then, it's pointless to worry.

Its kind of pathetic really.

The place was a mess the first time round, twisted and believing its own hype. If people didn't learn from that then I guess they are doomed to repeat it.

Sad? They deserved for it to fail. Commies are basically hypocritical psychopaths. Did they ever really think that was any way to run a society. And now there's McDonalds and a Gap in red square. Its hillarious.

For however long more it lasts
