So I've got another question. Volcanic eruptions, earthquakes, every other damn thing we've had here. People are gonna eventually turn up looking for answers.

Do we have any?

I wondered was it maybe something those of us who can't help with the rescue can do. Because I personally have no wish for angry military evacuating the civillians and locking us all in camps or whatever.

You can call me paranoid, people generally did back home, but its a concern.

That makes sense, to be worried, but I'm not sure it matters. They're probably a bit more concerned with the landscape changing volcano and the like. We'll see, I guess.

Freddie, stop. He doesn't want her to see him like this. He's an alcoholic, not an idiot. And yes, I realise to you they're one and the same. But he can't change his past and he's trying so hard to change his future. He's making an effort this time, which is a big change already.

I think the answers are obvious; as much as we would rather conceal the truth, it will be difficult to do. Especially given the size of the displaced population, and the number of us who are "fictional" or have duplicate faces, or are otherwise significantly "abnormal" for this place and time.

However, having someone - or several someones - dedicated to the "damage control" side of things would be ideal, whichever direction our story is spun.

If the military - or anyone similar - attempt to do anything of that nature, I suspect they will have a difficult time. Still, you are right to be concerned.

Is there any reason for anyone to suspect that we know why the volcano exploded or why the weather was being crazy--which not really crazy. We just lucked out on tornadoes before that one.

As for the battles and explosions at the complex and other places, I'm sure we could spin it as homegrown terrorists if we really needed to.
