It's a ghost thing. Ghosts are tied to the world if we have unfinished business. Once we've done it, a door appears and then it's game over. We move on. To whatever is there, I don't actually know. The men with sticks and rope herd us through and they're just like evil fucking morris dancers and they don't like me all that much since I kinda screwed them over and some stuff.

But my door shows up, that's it. I can just be done with all this. If I can sort my unfinished business.

Maybe. I think I hope so. I had a plan, you know? I was going to live a boring life, try to make sure my brothers actually finished high school, maybe even go to college. Get my Dad to finally quite smoking. Be with some guy, have kids, watch them grow up and finally snuff it when I'm like 80 or something. Not be stuck dressed like a girl, in boots that are so freaking uncomfortable and dealing with the bullshit that comes with loving someone with an evil alter-ego.
