No evil
I have a medieval King in my medbay. I'm not sure which part confuses him more, the technology around him, the fact I'm a woman or the fact I'm black.

Wasn't Richard III the evil one? According to Shakespeare anyway.

Okay, yes, but Shakespeare was lovely. I met him and he wrote me a sonnet.

But yes, I seem to have Richard III in my medbay, eying the phone like it's going to bite him.

He was also a massive Tudor propagandist. I suggest we don't show the King what history has done to his legacy.

He is from very long ago. I mostly remember the tail end of all that and his niece marrying Tudor

Considering we don't actually know what his legacy really was. Actually, maybe the Doctor knows.

I was never taken to that point in time.

By all accounts he wasn't a terrible king. I mean there were rumours, his nephews and all...but I was hardly of the station to know such things.

That's always been the big question of history, hasn't it. Did he do it.

...You're not asking him that

Indeed.

Also, welcome to the country you didn't know existed, we're fighting the devil, by the way, did you kill your nephews, what about your wife, your brother?

This is going to be difficult to explain to him isn't it.

...I wish you the best of luck in this endevour Dr Jones

Right now I'm focusing on making sure the stitches in his wound stays put and relieving the bruising he's suffering.

Everything else can wait.

He arrived wounded?

...He arrived from Bosworth or something ridiculous didn't he? The seal sometimes has a twisted sense of humour

That's my guess. I'm thinking part way through the battle, because the injuries are not life threatening, assuming he does as he's told now as part of the recovery.

Even Kings must answer to doctors!

Damn right! I don't care important someone is, in my medbay I expect obedience from my patients!
