I know what you're going to try to do. Not that hard to figure out. I've no intention of letting that happen. Humanity is so fucking frail, so weak. You can stand against the darkest things out there and even win, but it's a hollow victory. You're all of you breaking inside, in little ways and big ways, ways that you can keep going around with a smile on your face in spite of it, and ways that leave you huddled in the dark just trying to fucking breath. I refuse to be made a victim like that again. I'll kill Jerry myself before you have a chance to stake him, and what will you do then? How will you "save" me then?
