Um, help? I'm being creeped on by an old guy who's stalking me all over the internet now. I told him to leave me alone but it's just getting freaky and stupid. Does this thing have a block option? I can't find one.

I have a lot of respect for House as a doctor, and I don't believe he's setting out to deliberately scare her. But he has already taken it too far and it does have to stop now.

And we're not coddling her. I very much disagree with the claims we are. Cyberstalking IS a crime, it's something that can cause serious distress to someone and that distress is an entirely subjective thing. If some people here can shrug off this sort of thing, then lucky them. But she's a child and that needs to be taken into account.

It does and I worry it may already be too late. The damage is done, intentional or not.

The only reason that I have yet to go off on people who claim that is the fact that I know my brother would be holding me back if we were in France and I am at least trying to hold onto that. Especially when they are the ones who will jump onto the attack if people disagree with those they care about who should be better able to handle such issues. Insult doesn't even have to be involved for them to jump onto the defensive. Between knowing what Armand would tell me and that fact, I know it would get nowhere.

I am still learning technology and I tend to forget about it more often then not, but it bothers me because it makes stalking and harassing that much easier.

Just because they can handle it or do not see it as an issue should not matter. Using yourself as a basis for how people should react is narcissistic and insulting. Each of us is different. Each of us has our own life and experiences that shape the way we view things. There is no mold. A question was asked, answers and suggestions were given and just making sure she knew that she wasn't alone. Nothing more.
