Think I don't know that? Think it doesn't haunt me all the time? I've already seen how easy I am to replace. I know Eleven and I will never have the link I do with the two before him. If and when a Twelve shows up? We'll probably be even further distanced.

But I would never turn my back on him the way you have. He's given me everything I could ask for. I went from a pathetic shopgirl in London to someone with strength and confidence. No one rescued me this week, Romana. I got myself out of there, with the help of my fellow captives. And the old me? She'd never have done that. She'd have sat and waited. Probably withered away hoping someone would show up. But that's not who I am anymore, and that's all because of him.

I hated him when I showed up here. He cast me aside, just as he had you. But I know he had his reasons and I moved on. We're closer than ever for it. You could have had that. Instead you turned to the man who hates him most.

Like I said. I asked for you to be left alone because despite everything, I still considered you my friend. But no matter what happens in the next few days, we're done.

	Me of all people? For his past, for the things he's done, he's changed. He agonizes over the things he's had to do and he's moved on from it. I'm not with someone who would happily see this city crumble so long as he gets his revenge on one man. I understand loving someone, Romana. But I also know about making the right choices.
