Apparently there's a famous person in this world that looks like me. So the question I pose to those of you that have the same issue, how do you avoid getting caught on camera and whatever? This woman is apparently pregnant and I'm most definitely not. I'm also talking about suggestions other than going outside with a bag over my head or something equally as silly.

Click if you so dare, Battering Ram.

[OOC: Worry not, the link is perfectly safe. Just a musical number from a movie. :P]

Apparently, it helps that my television show is made in the United Kingdom, and the gentleman who plays this particular me hasn't appeared in a great deal of media popular with local audiences. I expect I'm more likely to be mistaken for someone from the Harry Potter films here than who I actually am.

That's a good thing, at least. It seems this woman is more popular in some place called India than she is here, but I'd rather not be mistaken for her. It would be horrendously awkward for all parties involved since my accent is different from hers.

Is it? Where are you from? Apparently not Earth if you aren't used to the idea of India. Bit hard to miss India if you live here. It's rather big.

I'm from a place called Thedas, born in the country of Rivain. Thedas is completely different from this place. It has elves, dwarves, dragons, and Darkspawn. It has demons too, but the demons there are a bit different from the ones here. Though some languages in this world have similarities to ones in mine. It's rather strange, actually.

It all sounds a bit Lord of the Rings. That's brilliant.

What's Lord of the Rings?

No one's told you about Lord of the Rings? For shame. You should stop by the library, pick up the books. Better yet, pick up the movies. Much more entertaining than entire chapters devoted to begats and geography, though that's good, too.

They made movies out of the book? I'll probably start with the movies. Reading books can be boring sometimes, though with a title like Lord of the Rings it can suggest so much. It does have my interest. I hope there's shiny treasure in it. Or something really valuable. Sex works too.

Well, books. Well, actually, "book" is what was originally intended, but the publisher thought the whole story was too long to successfully market as a single unit. Sorry to disappoint, but it's a morality story. No sex.

Ugh morality is so overrated. So I'll opt for the movies. There must be something pretty to look at if I'm to sit through a morality story.

Mostly I just sort of do.

Its Lawrence Kansas, hardly the most metropolitan of cities. And I look like the mom of a toddler and Dianna often looks flawless.

We should say screw where the seal is and fight the apocalypse from New York. That'd kick ass

If New York is near the sea, I fully support this. Being on dry land and away from the sea this long is making me itchy.

Though I do appreciate the middle-of-nowhere that we're stuck in to cut down on the questions of why famous people are here.

There's a big river and I'm pretty sure it's not far from the Atlantic Coast.

Works doesn't it! I'm fairly sure the seal does something wibbly, people don't recognise us like they should

Close enough for me! It'll be closer to the ocean than we are now.

It does! Makes things far easier for everyone involved. Though I'm sure a few of us around here would like the attention in some fashion.

You should take a cruise.

Maybe. I know I really really wouldn't

By cruise I assume you mean something that doesn't involve me being the captain of the ship and that I'd eventually have to give the ship back.

Depending on the attention, I may like it. But being well-known comes with a price. Everything does, really.

How about this, do you dance?

What did you want me to say. You looked attractive, but the music was irritating. It boiled down to interesting

For formal court affairs yes. Other than that no.

Something more descriptive than a simple interesting. I didn't mind the music so much. It had elements that sounded like the music from my homeland.

Ah formal dancing. I know this place that's good for dancing and having fun. Though you'd probably find the music irritating.

More descriptive you say? Fishing for compliments are we?

I expect I would. I dislike most of the music around here and the dancing is probably not what I'm after

I try to wear loads of hoods on my head.

That would work, too.

When you don't wear hoods, do you get swarmed by fans of the female variety?
