It's only to use as a last resort in case he tries to seriously hurt someone. You know as well as I that Clark would rather we weaken him enough to make sure he isn't a threat, rater than let him harm innocent people.

You still don't trust me I understand. But will you promise me one thing? If I tell you to use it on Clark....you will. It might be the one thing that saves us if he becomes dangerous.

It would only kill you if you have prolonged exposure to it. I've seen Clark come back from having it near him many times. It's only to weaken him.

If need be, have Connor use it on him, or someone else you trust.

My goal here is not to kill Clark. Only to prevent him from hurting innocents.

I've seen other ways, but it's rather difficult to come by a room lined with lead I knew I should have started building one before now or block out the sun on short notice.
