Who: Khan and Molly
What: Random run-ins and stuff?
When: Tuesday afternoon
Where: A Lawrence grocery store
Warnings: Doubtful!
Since the battle in the graveyard, Khan had admittedly been quiet. This wasn't his world and he felt it more than most. There was no place for someone like him unless he was fighting. More so, leading. He'd led entire nations. Now he was living in a small cabin in the woods near a river, solely for a home for his otter and the otter's family. And how did he even own an otter? Because of the strange little array of acquaintances he'd gathered. Acquaintances? Or friends?
He'd taken to doing odd jobs to pay the rent on the cabin and for food. It wasn't stressful, but it wasn't a life he was used to. Frankly, he felt useless.
Useless or not, he still had to eat. Cooking was not his strong point and his grocery cart consisted mostly of boxed soups and microwave meals. While the genius in him knew it wasn't the healthiest way to live, he was also sure his metabolism would manage.
He was looking through the produce, considering fresh fruit, when he saw a familiar face. He was unsure how to deal with Molly Hooper. Most of his current friends were men, with the exception of little Bo. Molly was different.
He made his way to her, hesitating for a moment before speaking. "Hello," he offered. Because it would have been rude to ignore her, of course.
