Good. She hadn't decided to decline her invitation. She found herself smiling a bit more at that, encouraged. He seemed to actually want to talk to her right now. This was good, and knowing she hadn't made a mess of things made her relax more. Hopefully she stayed relaxed as long as he was at her home.
She pushed her trolley to the doors of the market. "I did live in London," she replied. "I've lived there since I was in university. I like it there a lot. I was a bit homesick the first few weeks I was here. It helped that John and Mary were here." They got outside and she spotted the cab, heading towards it.
